So I already need to comment even though I'm just a few minutes in: totally looove your idea of giving us a tarot and a book for each of these. So even more excited to watch now. And also totally get what you said in terms of Lisa Papez made me do it. Her joy, passion, love and excitement really comes through as well as other emotions she might experience which I love.
Hi Joanna! So happy to see you 🥰 Oh I hope you like my recs ❤️ Lisa is totally the little angel/devil hybrid on my shoulder when it comes to deck purchases lol 😂
I definitely love your recs. I don't know how you did it but now I have a bunch of romance books on my wishlist even though romances are normally not my style. They tend to be pretty much the same story and bore/annoy me. But a lot of your recs feel interesting and different compared to your classic romance story.
@@g.d.12 I mostly read Harry Potter but I’d read LOTR, Star Wars or Star Trek oh or Buffy… I’m sure there’s more but off the top of my head 🥰 Oh but I only read romance ❤️
Omg the recs! I gave the Forced Proximity AO3 rec a skim - I’ve never tried nor cared for that type of relationship before - but my skimming turned to intrigue, and… now I’m downloading it to read more in-depth eventually 👀 I really liked the other AO3 fic you recommended! I love romance and i’ve been comfortably reading slice-of-life romances the past few years, so this gave me a bunch of new settings to try out!
i lovvvvved every second of this!!! hehe such a fun take on this. I really need to read in Silence and Submission... lol just gotta finish this Astarion fanfic first.... lol
I also purchased deviant moon Tarot due to Lisa, lol. I’ve said this before, but Tarotube in general is like kryptonite to my wallet, lol. The fact that Lisa really spoke highly about this deck (and the artwork not exactly being an aesthetic she gravitates towards) was the tipping point. I’ve been on a Radleigh Valentine kick lately, I actually really love the card stock, specifically the high gloss. It’s funny because the work your light oracle was also a deck I purchased in the very beginning of really diving deep in this fantastical world of divination. I think it was my third or fourth. Anywho, before my comment turns into a novella, I just want to say that this was such a fun tag and video to watch. I also really enjoyed your twist by giving book recommendations. Love it. 🙂
@@TaraIsCozy pretty sure mine is Dreams of a Dark Warrior book 10. Pretty sure that is the Vampire dude with the red eyes forgot his name that is his story. And his girl is a regular human possessed with a female demon that is a serial killer. Bad ass story! As an aspiring writer myself I am in awe!
Great idea to add the books that also match the troupe! I agree 100% about Lisa Papez’s influence on my deck purchases. I’ve had my eyes on The Deviant Moon because of Lisa’s walk through and the positive reviews by many. Nice video. Thanks for sharing. See ya next time.☀️🌻
Not an obscure author to say the least but I’ve been devouring Julia Quinn novels lately. The Smythe-Smith series may be the Bridgerton series’ less famous little cousin, but soooo good. The Sum of All Kisses was my top favorite, but all of them are for sure worth the read. I already had the Wallflowers series on my to-read list but your recs really bumped it up to the top of my list! Thanks for the great video, so much fun!
Yes! I haven’t read the books because I’m watching the show which I know is a cardinal sin of the book world because the books are usually better lol! Oh I hope you dive into the wallflowers! There are two series after it that are different families we see in the first or next generation and people rave about those too! If you like historical romance I’d also suggest Tessa Dare if you haven’t read her. Her stuff is I’d say more “modern historical” in that they aren’t very historically accurate but they are so light and steamy and FUNNY 😂
@@TaraIsCozy omg yes I love interconnected series! The first Wallflowers book is going to be my very next read. Thanks for the recommendations! I honestly wouldn’t even worry about watching the Bridgerton show first. The books obviously share SOME of the basic premise facts, but other than that they take completely different courses. I would definitely recommend the books regardless, but you’re not ruining anything by watching the show.
@TaraIsCozy It's literally a fave because it's Hermione with Draco, Lucius, and Severus. 🥵 Which are all my fave men 😍😍 Plus, there's scenes with all of them together plus separate.
