- In this video on pokemon card investing, I go over somepopular Invest in this product or invest in that product. I quite often get asked if it's better to invest in sword and shield at a higher price or scarlet and violet at a lower price!

I have 2 products that I've been focusing on recently. Crown Z booster bundles for 28$. Or japanese 151 booster boxes that I've been buying at about 77-80$ per box. 151 is better for the long run, but I think CZ will see great growth quicker.

Awesome video man, keep it up! I am very interested in hearing what would be the better thing to do. Sell one BB of ES and buy 6 JPN 151 BBs or just keep the ES BB. Lots of support from Sweden!

Great Q&A! For me, I often tell myself, "you could have gotten the this one if you didn't buy those". And that's the big fundamental guiding star for me: it's easier to buy multiple of the cheaper items with a higher potential for growth, but it's also unlikely that I'll get the more expensive item down the road at a price I like.... Instead of saying I wish I got it when it was cheaper 😢😢

Another good point is that it's easier to sell and ship 1 booster box than it is for 3 booster box. Don't forget liquidity. 👍

I'm giving up buying Pokemon as an investment and now will concentrate on collecting them. Investing in the right cards, boxes etc. was driving me crazy and I wasn't having any fun, so collecting should be easier and more fun to do.
They'll naturally get gains anyway mate!

I like you you added safe investments when comparing lost origin to temporal forces. There is a higher profit margin for SV era sets but lost origin has a higher level of assurance that I can double or triple in price in the next 5 years or so. I like that point. You can’t go wrong really with buying a $100 booster box because history has shown they will go up after an x amount of years.

One thing i think we learned is the chase card matters. All the most expensive sets in the last 4 years or so, also have the most expensivr single chase cards from the era. Even if its just one card, if its 400 bucks, the sealed product will follow. Ps. I bought a team up 3 pack for 40$ in 2021, still have it 😁

If we compare to Sun & Moon, a Team Up booster box is 3x or better compared to the Psychic set Unified Minds…still only 5 years out, but I imagine ES will do the same

I think all this comes down to is timing investments. However, that isn’t the easiest thing to do
Timing is key. But if you're in it for the long term a small difference now isn't going to matter that much.

If you knew that you’d never have to work the rest of your life. Too many people focus on growth and not on the downside risk. Literally the first thing you learn about investing
@@crumplehornedsnorcack if that were true then data science and analytical modeling wouldn’t be a thing. It’s all based on past performance. And I don’t have enough up front capital to invest in order to not work. As is the case for 99% of people.
