Recently, I was talking to a friend about the music I use to listen to and I remembered Down to Mars. This music video really takes me back. I remember always wanting to go to my aunts house just to watch DTM on Party Pilipinas. I was in middle school back then but now I’m a college student. Haha crazy how time flies.
Seriously this was released 2012 but the quality is this good!! Sayang naman ng grupo na ito. Kung nasa ngayon lang to na ang ppop ay kinikilala na ng marami, they would have received the support that they deserve. 🥺
Thanks to the one who shared this on our fb group about this awesome PPOP i so love this, watching them back in time makes me so proud that the OPM Industry are really trying to put some flavour on the table to our new generations to intake new taste of music which is similar to KPOP or adaptation, sadly, a wrong time for them but atleast they exist and creates fandom and noise from on-air, tv, and social medias in a short span of time.. anyway thank you Down To Mars im still proud of you guys..

I love Down To Mars! Fighting! And to those people that saying that Philippines have no originality and stuff, u are wrong! This kind of music is the trend right now! Even in other Asia countries they make boy bands like those in Korea and Ive seen those that are from other country and they look like they are also starting too so do not judge you're own country!
Ppop exists before pa, support lang talaga nag kulang but im glad for all the fans out there supporting new generation ppop group/artist. Looking forward for another group to give this a different flavor.

I just discovered this vid and i thought it's another korean group but Im truly amazed theyr all Fil.
This is remarkable to know that locally they are groups lyk this who take a lot of risk and do not conform to lethargic ballads of OPM. F Koreans can then why can't we? The song: tune, treatment, lyrics and style are great!

WOW I saw them performing at yeosu,korea last july. They were great! Korean crowds were cheering like they do for their korean groups. Proud pinoy here. It's more fun in the phil.

LOL to my fellow Filipinos somehow we should be proud to this boys because they can sing live without back up music with matching dancing and one of their members compose this song. This guys didn't even trained for years to get here. Unlike thos kpop stars who was trained for years but they still made mistakes on their love performances and I can say that this guys have the guts to do what they are doing right now. Atleast they admit that they are a kpop fan unlike XLR8..

It's great to see that Filipinos are trying to produce pop music. It's a challenge but it pays off in the end. The music video is good for Philippines and eventually they will be good like Jpop Kpop or even American pop. Of course KandJpop have cool music video becauae they have the technology to produce amazing visuals, but they have the voices and that is something that stands out among Asians.

Sa MV naman, I understand kung bakit medyo low quality since hindi sila ganoon kasikat at bankable. Pero sana next time a lot of improvements. Although ang masasabi ko sa MV ngayon ay "good".

Well that's new I also am a K-pop fan...but this video was really good...I also just happen to be Philippino... I've never heard of this group before,and i came across this some how and I thought it was great I don't see any problems with this I mean yes it's fairly close to K-pop but it's not the same... and yes there are other groups that do copy K-pop but those ones fail.... I cheer this group on and hope they bring out new songs...Good job guys... Mahal kita..

You see what your mind feeds you. The background are just geometrical figures placed in three panels enhanced with tube-neon lights. The director and the production team wont be stupid enough to copy iconic symbols... look at it as a whole panel structure and don't be fooled right away with judgements just to comment something.

I'm actually pretty impressed. They just need to sharpen their moves. Voice is awesome and they've got the whole k-pop/j-pop fashion down and they sound alright singing in English. Although a lot of people would label this as an imitation, I actually see this as going with the flow. Just my POV.
before i'm not really a song lover but when xlr8 and dtm just showed up...gosh was already singing songs especially tagalog ones and suddenly XLR8 AND DTM introduce me to KPOP
The first person so sing, the lead vocalist of this group, is a LESBIAN! She's an improved version of Charice. Almost with the same hairstyle. That's so progressive! Kudos to this group for making a statement for the gay and lesbian community.

I really don't understand the fighting..guys,harsh words are unnecessary,I'm a K-Pop fan also but I don't go around bashing other groups. It's actually a good thing that Filipinos are able to create these type of videos nowadays. You are talking about Hanbook dress..well, it is a traditional Korean dress and is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets.
