Nah, it's definitely just weird. Like I can understand people liking the chorus bit (not really) but wtf was even happening with the melodies throughout the song, especially that intro. There were just too many weird melody changes and off beat gunshots throughout the song and the flute in the bg just got annoying at the end. I'm sorry but it was just a really bad song, man. And SM selling it to ya'll like it's some revolutionary music that clearly "no one understands".

The NCT 127 vibe is there. But if you also noticed the sound is still different from the usual NCT 127 songs. And from reading a lot of comments here and there, i know some wants to hear the usual NCT beats/sound altogether. But hey, as you grow older, you experiment. I love this song!!! But same. I just wish that they added more sonic info/tension in the last chorus for a bigger release and a long high note to transition from the bridge to the final chorus. And I thought this song was extremely minimal compared to their other songs! Therefore, i thought the MV wasn't too distracting since the song is so simple. Its so simple that i am almost 100% sure that they will have a repackage with a title track that will bring everything together. But the vocals!!!! The growl and force they delivered was so damn sexy!! That's what you always get with SM artists. Their vocals are top notch. I hope you will check out more of their stuff. Thing is as a musician producer you can RIDE this bronco of a title track and even want More bucks. But to be.fair to the fans in the bleachers. A LOT of them were flying off and hitting the gitter tanbark left & right throughout their first half dozen times out of the shoot with this song. It always takes a few listens to ride out a rank 127 title track but this one is particularly challenging. So maybe in their wisdom that's WHY the fearless NCT tune writin cowboys thought theyd better give the nosebleed section something familiar to hang onto if that makes sny metaphoric sense.
I was so glad they DIDN'T do a long high note transition! It's overused in kpop. Sticker is a sound we haven't heard yet. NCT is inventive and innovative. It takes a few listens to get on board with them musically because it's so unique. Who else is doing it like them in pop? It's a new sound and I want to discover more with them.

Because it's a cowboy concept video, I thought the flute was perfect. It reminded me of cowboy films. A flute plays as the hero stands alone, narrow-eyed and silent. He's waiting for the villain riding into town to wreak havoc, as the wind blows dust and tumbleweeds across the deserted street. He is the last line of defense and his gun needs to be quicker than the other guy's. The flute immediately put me there. I got the vibe in the first 2 seconds.
