- What's in my bag? Fossil Sydney Satchel in the Navy bag review includes a look at the Fossil Logan Leather Tab Clutch Wallet. This was an impulse buy during the Fossil Flash Sale 2020 but a fantastic find that crosses fashion with function making the purse a fabulous treasure. The comparison of the Navy with the black is close if you are having difficulty making a decision in color see the contrast and, on the body, walk through.

Ohhh Burgundy sounds lovely! I hope you love your bag! This one is awesome I can see why it’s so popular. Sometimes mine looks super blue and other times it looks black so goes well if you don’t want a lot of color. Let me know how it goes or if you post on Instagram would love to see it. @oneoddruby I just got the medium brown In this one for xmas. I think I like it better than the navy probably because I wear mostly black. Haven’t seen burgundy yet but did see a green with studs. Haha Wondering how you like your bag. Hope all is well and healthy. 🤗

I just ordered the Sidney in black. They are out of the brown. I also liked the navy. I’m glad your video popped up. I didn’t think the Sidney was available. I’ve been watching on TH-cam and people have been saying that you cant get it anymore. I was thinking of ordering the Rachel. They must have brought it back. I’m excited. Jenna M Neal I just have to tell you something. Well 2 things really. I just went to the fossil outlet store. You won’t believe this. I can hardly believe it myself. OMG I got a Sidney in brown! The outlets don’t ship. You should check the outlet in your area. I got a zip around wallet. I can actually put my cell phone in it. Sweet. Ok here’s the second thing. I noticed you mentioned you got a Fiona tab wallet. It’s really cute. I saw it on amazon. So I checked the fossil website. They have a Fiona crossbody in two sizes. I think I might want the smaller one. For when you’re not carrying as much. I don’t remember seeing it at the outlet. But I’m calling tomorrow to check. Ok I lied. Here’s the third thing. I got a Sidney in snake with cream sides. A small coin purse to match. Really cute. It’s vegan. Not leather. Now I’m wondering if I should have gotten another one in leather instead of the snake. Red or navy. I didn’t get navy because I have black. I tend to buy neutral colors. But you can definitely tell it’s navy. I guess that’s why I chose the snake. I do like animal prints. So I’m sitting here so undecided. Im having a fossil breakdown. Well not really. But I went for one thing and had quite the gay old time. First time out shopping except for food. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Any advise? I’m not sure what to do. I guess I thought the snake was different and the navy is dark like the black.
Bonnie Shapiro How much fun! OMG I have to go check out the outlet I wonder where they have one by me. I want a brown one but so into the latest black bag I got and a black one would go so nice with my tote bag. I bought a tote bag in maple a month ago and it’s still hasn’t shipped yet. So disappointed about that but a small hand bag to go with my tote sounds awesome. Although I have been wanting a red bag lately. I have been looking for one. I stalk Fawn Design too and have seen they have a red red but I have so many of those and wanted another Fossil. I saw that snake one online. It’s fancy! How neat!!! I would think red would go with the snake too like a nice red wallet. I have a MK one that would go with it. Lol I love my navy because it matches my Navy Fawn and figure it goes well with brown but brown would be fun too. That sounds like so much fun!!! I have been looking at those Fiona bags and totes. Lol! I love neural colors too and don’t like patterns usually but I could def do some zebra print. How much fun!!! ♥️
Bonnie Shapiro the navy is dark but noticeable against black depends how much you wear black. I wear black almost everyday so the fact I went with Navy is odd since I have everything black. They were out of brown when I ordered. I guess it goes with jeans well. Super excited you thought of me ♥️
I love love love the Fossil Sydney all black little purse it's beautiful I feel very beautiful with it it's a very pretty pretty girl purse.
To be honest I have never been into persons never and I am now discovering that I really love putting my look together and adding beautiful and fun and exciting accessories to go with it and changing it up I like my own look and I'm excited about this this is really good for me.
Awww thanks for the comment. It’s so much fun and adding a bag or pop of color can really help to not have to redo outfits. This one is one of my favorite. I have a few other videos on this bag. There is a video on my black one with design and a brown one. I didn’t get into bags until the kids were little and I had to start carrying things for other people. Lol

Bonnie Shapiro check the website www.Fossil.com. They have a new sale each week. It fluctuates. I am impatient so when I want a new bag I tend to want to buy as soon as I find one but they have had some good sales. They have a different sale this week where you spend money and get a discount based on how much you spend sale right now. I have found if I stalk the sales sometimes can find some good ones.
I wanted another color 🙄 will keep you in mind if I see another sale where I am dancing around over it.

@@JennaNeal Hi. Nice to hear from you. Just saw your post. I actually got the colors I wanted last summer at the outlet. Looks like the outlet website is out of brown right now. I haven’t been at the outlets since I think September or October. But you would think they would restock the colors since the outlet still carries the Sydney. It’s a great bag. I’m glad to have it.
I saw a wine red Rachel on sale and was so tempted to buy it. I definitely wanted brown but the two tone is so close. I haven’t been either. We don’t go out much so not like I need the bags 😳 but I can’t help looking at the sales

Hi did your handles ever get soft and floppy? Or did they stay up and firm?
I don’t know if they are ever super firm. I fold them down when storing it and I still have to press them down like they pop up so they don’t exactly get floppy.

Is it soft leather not the stiff feel leather? I really want to buy another but absolutely do not want that stiff leather again..
D3anna would say it’s soft to medium. I wouldn’t say as nice as my Dooney and Burke soft leather bags but not as stiff as the Kate Spade bags I have either. And not as thick as my coach one. It’s smooth to the touch with a little sense of structure. I hope that helps.
D3anna what bag did you buy that was stiff? I found Kate Spade always seemed stiff with a great sense of structure but sometimes made it hard to use or those glazed leathers can do that
I got the Fiona Satchel in brown, its really cute probably about the same size as this Sydney. It’s hard to describe but kind of like a medium soft so it never collapses at all, yet not quite buttery soft like I always hoped for lol!
D3anna I was looking at that one since it’s all one color. I think it’s a little taller and wider but very minimal. I saw they had an ALL black and not the two tone like the Rachel. Does it have feet? I like that this Sydney has feet.
Mom Mania It doesn’t have feet and I was bummed about that.
Which do you think is better, Sydney or Rachel?
I like the Sydney better because it has FEET on the bottom and it comes in solid colors. I don’t like two tone colors with the straps. Some of the highly patterned Rachel’s are on sale right now for $49 but patterns aren’t really my thing either. The backpack tote is also on sale but since I already have one and waiting for two other bags 🙄 I shouldn’t buy another. How about you what features in bags do you like most?
I found the Sydney searching for the Rachel though wasn’t sure and couldn’t decide if the black and brown would work because the brown was out and they have this two tone thing happening now. I usually don’t like the two tone colors. But found the Sydney and well the feet and same color got me.
@@JennaNeal I happen to like the two tone colors, especially black and brown. But what's more important is I like pull up leather, the kind that have almost no texture, or maybe very fine texture and develops patina over time and make them look almost shiny. Is it the case with Sydney?
Lenny I agree. I am not a fan of the pebble or textured leather at all. I like this one because it’s smooth and doesn’t have that strange light effect where it appears uneven or bumpy. It’s not as smooth or as high quality as say the Dooney and Burke City Barlow collection but for the price that makes sense. I hope that helps. I don’t know that I have photos of this one on my Instagram but since I love posting and it keeps me inspired and not necessarily wanting to buy more bags I can post a few of this one. 😋

I just received my black fossil Sidney satchel today. It is a great bag and I’m really going to enjoy it. I would say the leather is soft and supple. It has a small pebble type grain which gives it some texture which I like. It has a zipper pocket inside, no credit card slots or key fob attachment. Not a big deal to me. If they ever get the brown color back I would like to have it in that color. It is a very smart looking back. So thank you mom mania. I’m so glad your site turned up. And to d3anna I would think you would like it. I really haven’t found anything to dislike about the bag. Thank god they brought it back. Like why would you get rid of a signature bag. Macys has had the newer Rachel in brown on their site which has the key. Full price although they do have sales.

Did you get your bag? You ordered a Black Sydney? The older version had a wallet cards feature on one side but this one has the two pockets and one zipper pocket. Hope you love your bag!
