It’s just hard because there are diff eras and diff weight classes. Rushmore isn’t the only great presidents … just iconic ones and the OGs Royce Gracie is the UfC’s George Washington. Royce, GSP, Jones, McGregor Royce was the first champ, GSP brought Athletics to the sport, Jones is Jones, and McGregor elevated the sport to a new level.

He only started consistently losing after he was 38 though. He was like 30-3 before he broke his leg and got chinned by Chris Weidman. Very good legacy if you only take into account the first 2/3rds of his career when he was young

Not his fault and yes he had many title defences. He was a monster in his prime fr but his toughest competition was probably Cejudo, who he losses S.Decision to. Khabib would get a spot on Rushmore before DJ, and I’m not even a die hard Khabib fan. Let’s remember the flyweight division really wasn’t as stacked as it is now, which is still far behind some other divisions in stacked elite fighters like the lightweight division
