Can we just talk about this fantastic horn section Con has added to the band the last several vids? And how the super-gorgeous Lesley has taken over from Nikki in a classy and elegant way. And of course there's Kat and her phenom 4-octave pipes and the talented Pina. This band is just on another level altogether. If the pandemic wasn't still happening I'm certain Con and the HSCC would be on a north American tour right now. They were just about to play in Las Vegas 2 years ago before all of this hit.

However, having been a subscriber to this channel for the past few years what I can say is what has been observed here, and that is Darren and Nikki both left the band awhile ago. They have their own channels and Nikki's songs are produced for her channel by Darren. The HSCC 'Front Three' for the past several months seems to have been cemented with Pina, Kat and Lesley. It certainly seems to be a formula that works, and works well. Con knows what he is doing.

Idea: BBC creates a late-night Craig Ferguson hosted talk show and HSCC are the house band and Con & Craig share some back-and-forth ribbing each night. Must see tv.

I listen to HSCC in two different eras: BK and AK...Before Kat and After Kat. She is incredible! Amazing voice! Love it all but she is on a whole different level!

@@susanengelhart Susan thanks for your reply ...and yes I would not sound HSSC's trumpet had I not witnessed them live . I attended a 2nd concert in November as they were all so professional yet again...they even dress professionally above their outstanding musical talent .They won't disappoint.

Can't agree. If you listen to it the lead singers voice is weak. It's not lead on this song. Which is strange I've heard her on some other songs and she takes it. But for some reason her voice isn't strong on this. Stronger to the end but that doesn't do it. Unfortunate.

Ok, I admit it, it was Kat, Lesley, and Pina that made me pause and watch this video. But once I started watching, I saw what a bunch of talented musicians you guys are! EWF is the greatest band of all time. So, for HSCC to take on this classic with a very difficult falsetto vocal track is a very ambitious cover. I have to say . . . it works. The pulsating rhythm, the harmonic vocals and the driving bass and horns all work wonders. Hey nobody is Phillip Bailey, but Kat's vocals are other worldly. She pulls off incredible, difficult vocal gymnastics. Can't say enough about Kat on this one. She is spectacular.
Truth - nobody is Philip Bailey but Kat indeed was excellent here.

Well, Scott, if you haven't seen it already, then you really need to check out the HSCC cover of "Best of My Love," the "studio" version.
She is So cute in that video, particularly near the beginning, starting around the 0:43 mark. Her spirited and energetic dancing would get any dance floor going! She's definitely getting into it, and having Fun there.
Not sure if people will agree but I think it's the best Kat Jade ever with the HSCC I've seen! The rest of the guys are just awesome, special mention to Pina and Lesley, two gems.

👍that's right, relaxed tempo . . . I like them better than Leonid and Friends when it comes to covers, HSCC does not copy note for note or what is exactly on the original versions, they do at least a little different . . . . . . Benjie/Philippines.
