I use this method for all revisions, this way I can keep the overlay on the original files along with any bidding comments. Then when I replace pages in my takeoff set (latest and greatest) I only replace the background, that way my takeoff set markups will transfer, but not my bid markups or overlay.
Hi Michael, Great video! Thanks for sharing. I have a question regarding Hyperlinks in Bluebeam. Not sure if you would be able to help. I'd like to know if there is a way of exporting a documents hyperlinks into an excel file format?
@@michaelechave I have Microsoft Team's, not sure if it would be easier we chatted on there?? I could share my screen and show you what I'm trying to achieve?
This is so much better and faster than the traditional overlay. Being able to move the overlay is a game changer. Thank you for sharing.
Happy to help!
Thanks Michael. It was very helpful and way faster than using the overlay command from the documents tab.
I've used this method for overlaying several plan sheets with the same viewports. I apply a layer to each snapshot so I can easily freeze/unfreeze.
Thank you for the tip!! Would you be interested in making a video to show how to track revisions and be able to revert back if/as needed?

What about when they have different scales?
Better than using the Documents/Overlay Pages, then aligning them. Especially when doing multiple pages. Thanks!
