- I just love this piece of music so much, I had to make my own version of it. I'm pretty sure the composer Susumu Hirasawa sings the vocals in the chorus so I thought as a composer I should step up to the microphone and do the same hah!

After giving his life to save Casca again as well as getting his revenge on the man who took everything from him, Guts will finally receive a bittersweet end, dying happily and peacefully knowing that Casca is safe and that all of his hard work and suffering weren't for nothing.

Why the fuck did this make me cry? I've listened to Guts' theme hundreds of times before. What black sorcery lies within this song to evoke emotions previously unknown? Did you activate your behelit in order to achieve this level of mastery?
Seriously though, i can imagine this version for when Berserk is over and Guts has finally achieved true, lasting happiness. Where before his song represented the struggle of a deeply hurt man, with the tiniest fraction of hope allowing him to move forward, this right here says that... he made it... the struggle is over and he is truly at peace now.
