Amazing!! Such a simple technique that somehow didn't occurred to me before. It's great. Great video, great tutorial, straight to the point, no bs, perfect!
Very cool and helpful but saying "saber wrap" is misleading because you don't use the glows from it, just a wiggly line. Was hoping you found a way to wrap the actual presets around an object.
Well its still is saber, its just if you turn on the glow, and i believe you tried you will find the edges are very rough and looks like a strange shape, thats why i think a good solutions is adding the glow afterwards.
My issue with saber is that when im trying to use it with key frames the saber just gets distorted and weird when i try to track it on a moving object.
If you are following my video and tracking with mocha, i believe you are using corner pin tracking data instead of transform. In 01:14 , double check you are switching it
@@RobikFX thanks, I didn’t use my brain🙄.Instead of using the effects tab to play around with the cylinders rotation I turned on 3D and moved the 2D plane around and rotated it like an idiot lol .😂 Thanks for the tutorial though, I’m trying to learn all I can about vfx in the least amount of time
Deep glow is not a free plugin sorry. You can create a similar glow with multiple copies of the default glow in AE, there are some tutorials on that. Thanks for watching!
The possibilities are endless
