Current Inflation is being driven up mostly by fuel prices,
If we switch to Nuclear power and give greater incentives to buy electric cars (including subsidising and prioritising lithium battery production) this problem will subside substantially over time.
Also, many countries are going for the practical short term measures of taxing fossil fuel company profits to discourage extortionate profiteering…
Overall though, Society’s rejection of Nuclear power was a massive mistake, and the environment has payed dearly for it as we continue to rely on fossil fuels for our electricity

I'm thinking of Canada and France for other options as well. However, Ireland does have some good unis. I'm confused 😕. Could you help me a little bit (only if you can)?

Hey, I've been looking at places in Ballsbridge and Donnybrook to find a good flat/house given that it is equidistant to both, UCD Smurfit and City Centre - in case I bag a part-time job there. My budget is the same as yours (500-700) but I'm unable to figure out if the buses go to city centre and Smurfit directly. If you could do a video on public transportation in Dublin and the cost of it, it'll be very helpful. Thanks a ton for these videos.

    • @AliveToTellaTale

      Hey Muzammil!
I plan to cover almost every aspect in this video series. Public transportation will be covered in detail in the upcoming videos, please stay tuned 🙂.
Coming to your question, Ballsbridge would be perfect if you could find a place there. There are frequent buses to the city centre and to Smurfit in Blackrock.

I am planning for my masters in 2021.
I have a query. Please if you could provide some information on it. I have a good amount of gap between my 2 jobs, I want to know whether this will have an impact on my job prospects after completing masters. This is really making me afraid to come to Ireland next year.

      Hello Arjav,
I'm really glad that you find the videos helpful😊
While applying for colleges you are required to write a statement of purpose explaining why you would want to take the course and how it would help with your career in the future.
This statement is basically writing a formal letter to the admissions team. You could explain why you had to stay unemployed and why you chose to go back to work. Everybody has gaps in their career and academics for various reasons and it's not a mistake.
What's more important is you chose to go back to work and wanting to level up your career. After you graduate you will come across opportunities that matches your hard work and talent.
      All the best 😊

@@varshilmehta99 well I have been paying the same for the last 2 years and I don't mind it since I do not want to compromise on my privacy and don't want to share the apartment with too many ppl. But if you don't mind then m sure you will find a better deal. Student accommodation is even more expensive as compared to regular rents since they give you a private room a lot of amenities. Compare all the prices before making a decision 🙂 all the best

      Hey Pratik!
I'm glad that you found the videos helpful 😊
All the best for your college applications. Make sure that you spend good amount of time on your Statement of purpose.
The jobs situation is currently a bit stagnant like elsewhere in the world.
I hope things get better for all of us very soon 🙏

Thank you for such a informative video
Ma'am can you please shed some light on why it takes 6 months to get a part time job .
I have gone through the video in which you told about the part time jobs but then also can you please explain it as getting 1000 euros for 6 months will be challenging task for me

    • @AliveToTellaTale
      @AliveToTellaTale  4 ปีที่แล้ว

I understand that Siddhartha but the current scenario is different.
If you can find a job within the first month then it's wonderful I mentioned six months because to make sure you're secured financially while you look for jobs. It's just an example and depends on the individual.

      Hi Sankalp,
Post-COVID-19 majority of the businesses are being pushed to innovate to have a strong presence in their respective sectors and there's a need for talent in this transition. I believe things would change in a good way after you graduate from college.
I will talk about it in more detail soon. Stay tuned for the video on job oppurtunities 🙂
