Father Knows Best! - Pastor Tolan Morgan

Coming from Genesis 35:1-5, Pastor Tolan Morgan preached a direct message to and for fathers - from calling out the effeminacy of 21st Century men, challenging fathers to be cultivators and not dictators, and affirming that their children not turning out as they expected is no longer completely their fault.

This is the first message I've ever heard from this pastor. I do not know this man. This is a Father's Day service I realize BUT, when this is the first message you hear, male chauvinist attitude hurt; because abuse is NOT a function. I'm thankful that Jesus lived, died, and rose again, so slavery does not have to exist, nor the abuse to women any longer. The blood of Christ has set us free, to be able to enjoy our lives on earth as well, to go and sin not, and if equally chosen, to be humble and equally submissive.....but not hurting, sore, mentally traumatized, nor afraid. I agree, man should be the head, under God, but only when he is a right, just, and fair head under God; for his family, AND staff. Now I have to hear and see his wife, and other happy women praising God, without spirits of anger and revenge written on their faces, to agree this spirit is right. Waiting for him to pull the ladies in, to stories of God's love for them as well, on Father's Day. I love the anointed teachers of men, but where the Holy Spirit won't go inside of me, neither will I. The Holy Spirit truly is our keeper! Amen.
