Handy machine Takeuchi can’t buy better ,just a suggestion installing a thumb would be very handy on your machine
Can't hear the equipment working with that music on there.
And I'm a big fan of Takuchi.
I love running those.
I've got to do a very similar job to his over this Spring. The depth of the dig is about 1.4 metres from where the digger sits to the lowest point that the digger has to reach, This digger will be OK do you reckon?
Hi Dave, I am sure it will dig 1.4m in depth, but to be honest, if you have the width and height to get a TB216 through, I would go for that. They can dig to around 2.4m in depth, it would make digging out much easier as you can sit further away from the side of excavation or you can reach out further and move less. The machine in this video is a Takeuchi TB210R, it shrinks down to around 850mm which is what we needed to gain access to this property. I have a video on my channel of me using a TB216 to dig up a tarmac driveway. They are a great machine. The TB216 needs 1 meter width to gain access and around 2.3 meters in height. Hope that helps.
@@ProdigyPlantHire Thanks for the swift reply. Unfortunately it's a backyard gate in a wall and its narrow, I'll check tomorrow, but I'm almost certain it's well short of a metre, I think 850mm is going to be tight, I might have to take the gate off as its in a frame and the frame might be the difference between getting in. I do I hope I can get it in, because we started to have a bit of a dig with a spade today and it wasn't fun by any stretch of the imagination!
@@someblokecalleddave1 a Takeuchi TB210R will do 1.4 meters. Even if you have to dig the machine in to get the job done. Anything to save hand digging 👍
