Ed was a very popular fixture in the early days of folk music festivals and the peace and love movement of the 60's. Sometime, after become a naturalized Canadian, Ed opened a pub in Halifax called "Listener's" where patrons were expected to "listen" to the performers. Unfortunately, all of the shushing didn't work and Listener's Pub didn't last too long.

@@danielevans9838 yes, I think there are several different recordings of this song that S& G did on You Tube- as well as a lot of other singers or groups, but I do not think I have seen one by Nash.
