I love this. I was also a printmaker and I’m also a Ritchie. This is a beautiful work of art. My Dad Jim Ritchie would have loved this. He was a master tradesman builder in Scotland before moving us all to New Zealand.

Hi Kev Caz - Coincidentally, two days ago I gave a short tour to a dozen graduate students from KKU. Not about presses, tho, and I'm working getting a press into Thailand for art education schools. The DIY I have in mind is the Mini, for prints between A6 and A5, and is USD750 fob Seattle. You want a Mariner, at $3750.00 fob Seattle. I'm pushing "small is beautiful" for the economies of these times, and I want to get a press to Thailand, as the nearest ones now are in Malaysia and Singapore. thanks for your message. - B

Now I stopped the DIY version - paradoxically, it was more work on MY end to make it do-it-yourself. Now I only send them assembled on www.printmakingworld.com. thanks for the compliment. - Bill
