Whenever we go on road trips with my mom she gives up fake money. She gives us 10 dollars at the beginning of the week for us to spend on snacks and stuff. 50 cents for a healthy snack like fruit or a cheese stick or something like that, 1 dollar for a healthy/non healthy snack like goldfish, or a pop tart, and 1.50 for a piece of candy or chips. I love how we do it this way because it helps me learn how to save my money and learn how to spend it wisely. It also helps us not to over eat and not use up all of our fruit in the first hour!! i love your channel soooooo much and hope you see this and maybe try it! Now this method isn’t for every one but maybe just a suggestion. Love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️

When I was little my parents would just let us pack our own suitcases and would put bags of food and a cooler also shoes and maybe my trumpet if it would fit or else they would just make me bring the mouth piece.

These are super helpful because our family will have a road trip which will take about 3-5 hours which honestly is not that long but in our big family most of my siblings including me have really bad car sickness so thats the only thing we hate about road trips but it's really fun I'm super excited we are going to a beach and after that we are going to go to a big zoo and were going to stay at a hotel for my birthday I'm soooo excited to go by the way these sooo helpful especially for extremely long road trips your soooo good at organizing things I love tour channel
One other thing I have seen families say they take on trips is painters tape. You can make hopscotch grids with it, tracks for matchbox cars etc on hotel room carpets and pull it up when you leave.
I realize I am behind the times finding your channel and commenting on this video but I have to say....you are an awesome Mom!! Granted, I had only one child (he is 25 now) but he had his favorites close at hand when we traveled in the car. It was organized (you have to be to avoid chaos) and I think you are spot on with all your children having their individual spaces. I love this video and found it very satisfying to watch, as well. WOW thanks for all the storage/organization ideas. We do community theater with 5 yes 5 different companies so we definitely need some organization in the car as well as being able to take it in to the theater.

I was at Wal-Mart today at the allergy section for kids and they have motion sickness chewy tablets so if they have it for kids they must have something for adults. Enjoy your trip.😉
Arijana Pranjkic I get carsick easily and something that I like to do is listen to music or audiobooks! You can find a lot of books on TH-cam for free and I also use the apple store to buy the ones I can’t find on TH-cam. Hope this helps!

A tip that I like to use anytime I go on any length of trip in the summer is you can never have too much sunscreen or wet wipes
