The shot of going through the tunnel, while seeing Anthony through the skylight was very cool. The electrics and skylights really make your boat next level, great stuff.
The quiet burbling sound your prop makes along with the birdsongs is rather magical, I think. The skylight gives the most unusual juxtapositions, such as go0ing through a tunnel eating breakfast! And I can't imagine how embarrassing it must have been to have greeted total strangers like that!🤣(I wonder what they must have been thinking?🤣) Thanks for another lovely vlog. Spring arrived this week followed by our biggest snow storm of the winter season so we in the Toronto area could all use a quiet break... and here it is. A peaceful no-drama riverboat tour. Such perfect timing. I am not quite sure what Anthony was making but it looked delicious. Congrats on your inventive culinary skills. Always great to see how friendly everyone is on and around the river. Sometimes we get the impression that the U.K. is full of Clarkson's and Morgan's (UGH!) Stay safe, healthy, and warm. #Moredexter

The masses of people was a group of walkers. Great to see people enjoying the tow path. We do like to chat. The birds were particularly tuneful. I can’t believe I gave some random women a hug. It was weird she didn’t say anything 😂. The gammon was delish. I love doing it in cider. The solar is rarely enough to top the batteries back up to a decent level. But since the electrical overall, we are seeing better efficiency in charging and discharging. Hope you have a fab weekend ❤️

Our first narrowboat experience was with Black Prince Holidays as well. We hired from them twice, ABC and Anglo Welsh once and then had our own boat built as we loved it so much. Good weather, wonderful cruising, what could be better!

Our very first narrowboat holiday started where Midland Chandlers now is - Claymoore Narrowboat holidays at Prestonbrook. We loved it and ended up getting our own boat. Totally agree with you that people considering buying a narrowboat should hire first (if they can).

I always enjoy your vlogs. I have to agree with some of the previous commentators: the electric engine allows your viewers to hear the sounds that surround you as you travel the waterways. I hope the redo of the electrics was a success!
Thank you. Definitely a plus with the electric propulsion. The birds were particularly tuneful on this one too. Fingers crossed, the re wiring by the independent electician seems to have helped massively. Shame the boat builder wasn’t as responsive or willing. ❤️

Your discussion regarding the birdsong brings to mind my ongoing scuffle with a bird who insists on building a nest over my front door. Unfortunately, it would impede use of the door so I've had to remove all nest fixings each day for the past week. I've felt terrible but I live in an area with countless trees. The quiet burbling sound your prop makes along with the birdsongs is rather magical, I think. The skylight gives the most unusual juxtapositions, such as go0ing through a tunnel eating breakfast! And I can't imagine how embarrassing it must have been to have greeted total strangers like that!🤣(I wonder what they must have been thinking?🤣) Thanks for another lovely vlog. Spring arrived this week followed by our biggest snow storm of the winter season so we in the Toronto area could all use a quiet break... and here it is. A peaceful no-drama riverboat tour. Such perfect timing. I am not quite sure what Anthony was making but it looked delicious. Congrats on your inventive culinary skills. Always great to see how friendly everyone is on and around the river. Sometimes we get the impression that the U.K. is full of Clarkson's and Morgan's (UGH!) Stay safe, healthy, and warm. #Moredexter

The solar is rarely enough to top the batteries back up to a decent level. But since the electrical overall, we are seeing better efficiency in charging and discharging.

Our first narrowboat experience was with Black Prince Holidays as well. We hired from them twice, ABC and Anglo Welsh once and then had our own boat built as we loved it so much. Good weather, wonderful cruising, what could be better!

Our very first narrowboat holiday started where Midland Chandlers now is - Claymoore Narrowboat holidays at Prestonbrook. We loved it and ended up getting our own boat. Totally agree with you that people considering buying a narrowboat should hire first (if they can).

I always enjoy your vlogs. I have to agree with some of the previous commentators: the electric engine allows your viewers to hear the sounds that surround you as you travel the waterways. I hope the redo of the electrics was a success!
Thank you. Definitely a plus with the electric propulsion. The birds were particularly tuneful on this one too. Fingers crossed, the re wiring by the independent electician seems to have helped massively. Shame the boat builder wasn’t as responsive or willing. ❤️

Hi, gentlemen! Today's is an exceptionally beautiful cruise. Love those twists and turns for a surprise around every bend. Your discussion regarding the birdsong brings to mind my ongoing scuffle with a bird who insists on building a nest over my front door. Unfortunately, it would impede use of the door so I've had to remove all nest fixings each day for the past week. I've felt terrible but I live in an area with countless trees. Why can't he choose a tree?!? Have a great week! 💚💚💚

Cycled past Firenze and Morning Star this afternoon and admired both boats. Definitely the two best presented on today's ride out whilst dodging the rain. Have you had a chance to sample the fabulous bakery just round the corner from your mooring?
