I agree India is a different world in itself. And while I agree that poverty, illiteracy, and slums are a consequence of the hundreds of years of slavery, spitting and littering the roads with garbage has nothing to do with being colonised by the British. These are things that we need to eliminate ourselves if we have any respect for our country. Having said that despite our population opportunities both in education and work abound and our youth is poised to make the most of them.
