Thanks for the shoutout at the beginning! Glad to hear someone else's thoughts on the topic. I agree that everything being too PC is a big part of what caused pop culture to stagnate. It seems like with the way X is going, the winds are starting to change on that.
Absolutely man. PC has literally killed comedy… think about that!! Not having funny movies to laugh at HAS to be poison for a society already plagued with depression & anxiety… GOD this is depressing. I’m gonna watch your 80’s Cool video to cheer me up haha. I think popular culture has always been corporatized, it's just become increasingly more obvious that the majority of the entertainment industry has lost any desire to hide it
@@ollie_bear agreed! Rock got SUPER corporatized during the 80’s after MTV and produced some abominations like Poison lol Rap certainly was corporatized MEGA fast in the late 00’s, and so on and so fourth. Well said. As unfortunate as it is 😂
