One thing to realize is that her ult isn't a CC if you only hit one champ. Had a fed enemy Master Yi dive 3 of us under turret by himself, so in desperation I unleashed my ult. Well yeah, turns out he still auto-targets enemy champions if his allies or allied minions aren't around, and the Berserk grants him extra attack speed. As I stared at my grey screen after his easy triple, I could hear DJ Khalid in the background...."Congratulations. You played yourself".

@@m-mori it's an overreaction like everyone else. Yes it's powerful but if u look at Gwen's whole kit and Renata's whole kit gwen has far more in it that she didn't need. Overloaded means added features that are just extra bells and whistles that didn't need to be part of the kit just makes them more powerful for no reason like Renata's revive mechanic but besides that Renata doesn't have anything that you would call overloaded in any way shape or form. Gwen on the other hand the way her pasive just procs no joke 27 times with one decent combo her E resets and her litteral Xin ultimate gives her far more stuff she didn't need in her kit but did get over Renata.

Compared to champions I just mentioned above the only extra she has is the revive mechanic. And honestly while Zoe has a good amount of stuff in her kit nothing really screams like she didn't need any of it besides her W summoner pickup that is the only thing I find an overloaded part of her kit the rest all makes sense. It's powerful and super annoying and hard to balance burst but it isn't an extra feature tagget on for no reason. I do agree on samira though.

that would only work in low elo, as you can still use smite when Renata has ulted you, and it doesnt give her the kill. Any halfway decent jungler can prevent Renata from ever Baron/Drake stealing by just saving smite

in 10 Renata games I've had I only successfully revived 3 people, all matches we were ahead. it doesn't give you 2 HP bars or a tryndamere ult, it just stop death if you get a kill or assist. like how you could get revived at 10 HP then die right after from a random skill shot. also stream blackout by Britney💖

She is amazing in team play. In solo q yeah not so much. Your adcs dont follow up or just straight up run away with w on them. Better pick another enchanter that is always consistent no matter what team you have. Like Sona or Nami.

that's pretty much her only saving grace for her self she has no mobility so it being Takedowns also helps her stay alive when doing assist for but a cost of other teammates that might have needed it to stay alive so it gives Reneta Players something to think about who needs it the most and gives her some survivability for her lack of mobility

actually find her pretty balanced, i've fucked every single one i've meet, her kit has very low range and hight cold downs, still i think they should remove the revive after an assist and make the actuall revive a little bit more lasting, like yorik ult used to be or something.

They should perhaps change her W revive to be something closer to Sions passive, so perhaps after getting a kill the 3 second life timer resets. Allowing the carry to have the chance of dishing out damage even after getting initially burst down. (Or y'know, atleast not have it as a potential Zilean ult on a 24 sec cooldown without CD built)
I dont even know how can they nerf her without removing mechanics or nerfing the time you can revive during W but keeping the attack speed duration normally, engage + enchanter buffs and revive + utility + counter engage she has almost everything
she doesnt need a nerf, plus 10 sec cooldown on all her abilities, her passive deals less damage than leonas, she is kinda trash in the early game and if you arent taking advantage on that of course she will seem op

"Renata's kit is the most OP we've seen so far" people keep saying that about literally every new released champion since the game's release. She's not overloaded, but maybe a bit overtuned with the W buff duration, but other enchanters can do basically everything she can do, except for killing enemies with their own teammates if they're fed. People just need to learn how to play around her W and to ignore/kite the burning target early game, since triggering the death delay already means that the target is dead.

@@srotiikk1560 also Bailout's duration is only 3 seconds, so you can just kill someone and then back off, unless you're a champ relying on on-kill resets, then you need to plan your engage ahead. It's actually an unique way to counter those reset based champs by delaying target's death.
@@srotiikk1560 exceeept, Bailout doesn't revive. In fact, Bailout's target recieves a second round of damage that killed it, but spreaded in 3s burn, with a conditional cleanse of said burn, which will always set your target's health at 30% and can be triggered only once
that jinx was not a drug, but multiple drugs, i'd go so far as to say a cocktail of multiple drugs.... which he has seconds and thirds and then a few different ones to switch it up.
Honestly I think her w is fine. The only issue I see with it is zilean having a similar ability as an entire ultimate is.... not thought out. Now, the ultimate on the other hand is a entirely too much. I think it'd best be solved by making on hit effects not apply while under madness duration. But at the same time, her other two abilities are so bad (yet people keep calling them overloaded??) and clunky that if she doesn't have at least one broken ability the character is bordering unusable and her win rate will be well below 50%... Who knows. Interested to see what they do.
Her E isn't strong by any means, although it's got a lot of good number based effects so it should be easy to number tune as desired. Her Q is legitimately strong though. The cooldown is frustrating, but not actually a problem. The speed is mainly only a problem because people are using it wrong. It's slow enough that going randomly fishing with it is super inefficient and weak, but if used when a play is already happening it's insanely strong as shown here. Her R is also absolutely nuts. Not overloaded or "dumb" to have in the game necessarily, but an insanely strong ability that can singlehandedly make a champion relevant. Yes, obviously if you removed her W today without changing anything else she'd be quite weak. If she weren't, it'd be a sign of comically bad design. This is true of any champion with an ability that's supposed to be remotely meaningful, let alone Renata W. I think her W is stupid strong, and just plain stupid, and the champ doesn't even fundamentally need it to be a relevant and cool champion.
Is it just me or ppl are making her sound worse, I'd say she's not broken on release cuz that title is reserved for other champs who were 100x worse. I don't get how ppl don't understand her "revive" is just a weird shield/heal she uses to save someone, like how a soraka/lulu would prevent ur death with heals/shields. Does she needs some tuning ? Sure her ult might be too good of a comeback ult but sucks against certain teams, balance a few numbers here and there and she's just fine
The reason people hate her so much is because : All those "montage" clips, and because her ult hard counters full-damage team comp and in solo queue people don't give a f about counter-picking her and only pick their mains, so they get ulted and clapped their whole team. But it's her W revival that proc once every 20 minutes right?
She is strong an dneeds nerfs but she is a vbery well made champion. She has still all the main enchanter problems and weaknesses and so she will be healthy easily. It's when Riot breaks their classes limits that they make champions that can't be healthy and balanced.
I personally think for balance reasons they should take away the revive on the W as it already gives a lot of value. For the R I think it would be interesting if the people Renata ulted got the gold for the kill. I think this champ can be a balance and uniquely fun champ if the right changes are made.
I think they should keep the revive but make it so the condition is the victim only revives if the victim gets the kill and stats are reduced for a duration upon revive. As it is, it's pretty much a get out of jail card if you out damage the enemy.

chemtech drake was removed because the camouflage zones provided a huge advantage to winning teams. the soul was basically useless, as was the revive.
The chemdrake was OP for its camouflage zone. It's literally no way back for the losing team as they would just get picked on more easily.

that's pretty much her only saving grace for her self
she has no mobility
so it being Takedowns also helps her stay alive when doing assist for but a cost of other teammates that might have needed it to stay alive
so it gives Reneta Players something to think about who needs it the most and gives her some survivability for her lack of mobility

actually find her pretty balanced, i've fucked every single one i've meet, her kit has very low range and hight cold downs, still i think they should remove the revive after an assist and make the actuall revive a little bit more lasting, like yorik ult used to be or something.

They should perhaps change her W revive to be something closer to Sions passive, so perhaps after getting a kill the 3 second life timer resets. Allowing the carry to have the chance of dishing out damage even after getting initially burst down. (Or y'know, atleast not have it as a potential Zilean ult on a 24 sec cooldown without CD built)
Then the champ is trash.
I dont even know how can they nerf her without removing mechanics or nerfing the time you can revive during W but keeping the attack speed duration normally, engage + enchanter buffs and revive + utility + counter engage she has almost everything
she doesnt need a nerf, plus 10 sec cooldown on all her abilities, her passive deals less damage than leonas, she is kinda trash in the early game and if you arent taking advantage on that of course she will seem op

"Renata's kit is the most OP we've seen so far" people keep saying that about literally every new released champion since the game's release. She's not overloaded, but maybe a bit overtuned with the W buff duration, but other enchanters can do basically everything she can do, except for killing enemies with their own teammates if they're fed. People just need to learn how to play around her W and to ignore/kite the burning target early game, since triggering the death delay already means that the target is dead.
Imagine having to wait 5 seconds to kill someone late game just because renata exists lol

@@srotiikk1560 also Bailout's duration is only 3 seconds, so you can just kill someone and then back off, unless you're a champ relying on on-kill resets, then you need to plan your engage ahead. It's actually an unique way to counter those reset based champs by delaying target's death.
@@srotiikk1560 exceeept, Bailout doesn't revive. In fact, Bailout's target recieves a second round of damage that killed it, but spreaded in 3s burn, with a conditional cleanse of said burn, which will always set your target's health at 30% and can be triggered only once

Honestly I think her w is fine. The only issue I see with it is zilean having a similar ability as an entire ultimate is.... not thought out. Now, the ultimate on the other hand is a entirely too much. I think it'd best be solved by making on hit effects not apply while under madness duration.
But at the same time, her other two abilities are so bad (yet people keep calling them overloaded??) and clunky that if she doesn't have at least one broken ability the character is bordering unusable and her win rate will be well below 50%... Who knows. Interested to see what they do.
Her E isn't strong by any means, although it's got a lot of good number based effects so it should be easy to number tune as desired. Her Q is legitimately strong though. The cooldown is frustrating, but not actually a problem. The speed is mainly only a problem because people are using it wrong. It's slow enough that going randomly fishing with it is super inefficient and weak, but if used when a play is already happening it's insanely strong as shown here. Her R is also absolutely nuts. Not overloaded or "dumb" to have in the game necessarily, but an insanely strong ability that can singlehandedly make a champion relevant.
Yes, obviously if you removed her W today without changing anything else she'd be quite weak. If she weren't, it'd be a sign of comically bad design. This is true of any champion with an ability that's supposed to be remotely meaningful, let alone Renata W. I think her W is stupid strong, and just plain stupid, and the champ doesn't even fundamentally need it to be a relevant and cool champion.
Is it just me or ppl are making her sound worse, I'd say she's not broken on release cuz that title is reserved for other champs who were 100x worse. I don't get how ppl don't understand her "revive" is just a weird shield/heal she uses to save someone, like how a soraka/lulu would prevent ur death with heals/shields. Does she needs some tuning ? Sure her ult might be too good of a comeback ult but sucks against certain teams, balance a few numbers here and there and she's just fine
The reason people hate her so much is because : All those "montage" clips, and because her ult hard counters full-damage team comp and in solo queue people don't give a f about counter-picking her and only pick their mains, so they get ulted and clapped their whole team. But it's her W revival that proc once every 20 minutes right?

She is strong an dneeds nerfs but she is a vbery well made champion. She has still all the main enchanter problems and weaknesses and so she will be healthy easily. It's when Riot breaks their classes limits that they make champions that can't be healthy and balanced.

I personally think for balance reasons they should take away the revive on the W as it already gives a lot of value. For the R I think it would be interesting if the people Renata ulted got the gold for the kill. I think this champ can be a balance and uniquely fun champ if the right changes are made.
I think they should keep the revive but make it so the condition is the victim only revives if the victim gets the kill and stats are reduced for a duration upon revive. As it is, it's pretty much a get out of jail card if you out damage the enemy.
