- The video explains about capacitors importance in hvac systems.as you know capacitor is the main part of any air conditioning system. any kind of ductless units or any othe type of ac units have multi capacitors. motors have a separate capacitor and single phase compressor always run by the capacitors, dual capacitors can be use at a time for motor and compressor.in the video i explain types of capacitors, why we use capacitors, size of capacitors,troubleshooting of capacitors,... we cannot use a normal ampere meter or clamp meter for testing capacitors. only special miroferad mfd special type meter use for testing the capacitors.....three phase units dont have the capacitors. air conditioning hvac capacitors are how helpfull for running our motors.i tries to explain everything about ac capacitors. all the hvac system , lg , samsung, toshiba, carrier, genaral, panasonic,whirlpool. craft,chigo, all the ductless ac systems have same type of capacitors, but the capacitors have different size according to the size othe unit or size of the compressor,

Very well technically explained, my question , how will we know when to change capacitor of ac without opening. My window AC is fine but it does not cools the room as it used to earlier. Everything is working fine, the tubes get chilled, temperature is about 15 degree when checked by technician still room doesn't gets chilled. The compressor doesn't makes that powerful sound as it used to make earlier. Is that one of the reason that Capacitor has to be change. It's not been changed since purchased last 10 years. Pcb is also not working but can operate all functions by remote.. please advise
Heramb kore,,, there are special meter to check the micro farad of capacitor...... I think you should replace the capacitor by same value....

Bidyut ghosh, u can use 2uf. but ideal thing is to fix the same capacity,, 1.5.....
