Все эти мотивации, к сожалению, полная хуйня. Как бы некоторые не пытались создать контент ради контента, правда такова - у кого есть способность, а у кого-то нет. Кто-то спускается с пальмы, и уже через неделю нейтив, а у кого-то уходить годы и тысячи долларов, что бы хотя бы на бытовом уровне пятиклассника заговорить.
И так во всех сферах.

This video is on another level! Structure, production quality, presentation, humor - all outstanding! There is definitely much to be learned from you, not only for language learners and teachers but also for us smaller TH-cam creators.
Your accent is perfectly comprehensive and I feel so confident with my English level.
Here we use to say "the optimum is enemy of the good". Sometimes good is enough and sometimes you want so hard to be optimum and so afraid of making mistakes that you become blocked.

I had so much fun watching this video, but I completely agree with you, sometimes teachers make that mistake, specially with standart tests for a variety of personalities and learning methods, and sometimes we don't even teach correctly, but we want them to be "perfect". Your video's been so helpul for me. I've been learning English for more than two years and sometimes i feel frustrated with myself because I can't speak fluently in English. I often try in many ways of improving my english skills. I read books, Listen to music , watch videos or movies in English. But i still feel that my speaking skill doesn't get better even though i try to do my best for improving it. But with this video i've understood that it isn't really important to speak perfectly, just it's necessary a succesful communication. Thank you very much. 😊

i agree 100% with this video about taking time to inch closer to perfection. Perfection can't be reached. But we can be committed to get closer to perfection over time (not instantly).
This is the best video of English teaching I ever have seen, although I have seen thousands and thousands. I will speak perfect English or I would say just good English when the native speakers all over the world pronounce February in the same way. I must say that I lived in London for 5 years and I never been made feel that my English was not good or whatsoever by any native English in contrary they always made me feel my speaking was so good which was encouraging me to speak without fear, but I have difficulties to speak Franch with natives even though I do speak and understand French very well because of the Franch people attitude toward no native Franch speakers, they do not only make you feel that you are not peaking good, they tell you frankly.
My experience with the French forced me to conclude that they are unnecessarily snobbish. What is funny is that most of them don’t even speak a second language . I’d say ignore them.
I never let a comments on youtube because I am afraid to make mistakes. Guess what? After this amazing video, I don't care anymore! Thank you Christian!!

A brilliant lead into the topic! We were immediately 'hooked'. Did you know that that story has been adapted from an old Nasreddin (aka Nasruddun) Hodja story - a well known humourist in Turkey - who was searching for his keys in the moonlight?
Hodja Nasriddin Afandi is a well known folk humourist not only in Turkey but in our country in Uzbekistan too... especially in Bukhara for him built statue with his donkey ... were he sits on his donkey (ass)...

sadly true, if you want to be part of some countries you need to pass a very difficult exam like the ielts or the toefl, even if you just want to work for a couple of months cleaning floors, baths, or dishes lol

Oh my god, that's why you are my number one English teacher! Not actually because you teach us some rules to use or something... But because you inspire us and motivate us to keep going even if we do make mistakes and even if we take too long to improve our skills. Thank you so much.
Love this video! Very artistic and creative. Great points too...It’s all about progress NOT perfection. But, I also think that it’s a beautiful goal and endeavor to want to master all the nuances and subtleties of a language as a form of art. For some it’s a passion project they pursue wholeheartedly. For others, it’s not worth the time, money , attention and effort because they have more important priorities in life and it’s not about laziness or ignorance.
I’d say the problem with inaccurate pronunciation and grammar and choice of word is that it does get in the way of communication. Besides making words and sentences unintelligible, it can also be burdensome for the listener or reader to decode the things that are said incorrectly pronunciation and grammar-wise.
I do definitely agree that everyone’s goal can’t be to perfect their English because they have other important priorities, but they should at least acknowledge that their communication is compromised by lack of accuracy and not be sensitive to that.
