A bit more footage of the rest of the field would be nice. Instead of just concentrating on the flash the cash boys. After all the main fleet represents the true spirit of the race.
We saw some racers just of the coast from Portland bill yesterday evening, crazy rough conditions. You could see yachts close to the cliffs and as far as the eye could see.
That new black and yellow super maxi is really getting a baptism of fire. The late Tom Blackhaller once told me that the Irish Sea is just awful in a blow because it’s fairly shallow creating a short, steep, chop that is murder on the equipment and crew alike.

Imagine sailing this in a 30 foot yacht. Little boats get a much tougher experience. A very different race really.
