for the longest time I always thought the old chinese paintings of mountains in art history were just fanciful representations; but seeing your beautiful drone shots in this S2 series of these mountains has gave me a true appreciation for what those artists were doing.
In retrospect, Chinese paintings depict non-warlike by nature. There is not even one that can be found in museums. It's different from the west entirely. Perhaps Chinese can teach us something.
National Geographic does something on the mountain's local of the region who fish with birds but, with little detail about the community and mountains. I have been looking for detailed video for long until I come across her first one and this second one. They are so refreshing and informative to watch.
I am an American and my wife is from Nanning in Guangxi. I lived there for 6 of my 11 years living in China. I love Guangxi. Especially Guilin, Yangshuo, DeTian Waterfall. For anyone who is considering visiting China, let me tell you that you should ABSOLUTELY do so. We lived in Beijing for 5 years. Beijing is an absolute must see in China, but after you are done in Beijing I highly recommend that you visit Guangxi (Yangshuo, Guilin, DeTian Waterfall on the border of Vietnam, Yangmei Ancient Town, Dazhai Ethnic Village, and so much more).
I suggest chinese to upload more such videos of china on youtube. Because it would show the global community the real beauty of china. Nobody knows how beautiful is china unless they visit themselves. I visited guangxi last month. from pakistan
Most Chinese people don't understand English, and they can't understand it, let alone speak it. Chinese people have a large number of videos on their Bilibili (TH-cam in China), and Chinese people like their websites.
I've visited Yangshuo many times. It's the kind of place you never get tired of. The people on the rafts make me feel as though I am in contact with China's ancient past.
As a person who loves Guangxi so much, I can tell you that it's 10 times prettier then winter time, especially in the rainy summer. Imagine that you take a bamboo boat across the blue water, all the mountains are hiding in the thick mist. That's the real heaven.
According to Fengshui, that tree is having the negative energy or bad chi, but that tree said "fcuk you" to Fengshui and thriving. Moral of the story, Fengshui is a baseless claim and a superstition.
My mother and I enjoy all your videos. She’s amazed at the natural and cultural wonders of China and through your videos, she feels like she’s traveling through China. Please keep up the great work.
Yan (or can we call you Beauty now 😊?), thank you for taking us to this magical place and for continuing to show us how warm your fellow Chinese are. We love traveling with you to such unique locations. Now I have to go search the geology of Guangxi Province! Those rock formations!!!
I'm watching this from a far remote place called Kerala, in India. I absolutely adored watching your bike trip videos in rural China! It was so heartwarming to see the simple yet fulfilling life that people lead in those Chinese villages. The humble living, the close-knit communities, and the beautiful scenery all combined to create such a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. No words about the sweet and hard working villagers featured in the videos! Their kindness and generosity towards strangers really warmed my heart. It's moments like these that remind us to appreciate the little things in life and be grateful for what we have.
Happy New Year, Yan! I subscribed to your channel in 2023. Thank you for taking me to parts of China that I (a Chinese) have not been to. Looking forward to more adventures in 2024!
Wow, you're starting like Itchy Boots 😊 Been following your channel this year because of the beauty of China that you show. Now I am more interested with you riding a bike. Yes be like Itchy Boots and have fun riding 🥰
Hardworking ppl.beautiful country site. Dont hv issues of highly populated country. All kept in ordered . Each one of village having own life style Peaceful love china.
It is incredible. For chinese people there is not problems, only solutions. As I saw in your video, the man carrying his boat over the bridge to other side. I doubt it would be happen in other places. That is why China has growing too fast. The mind of people is advanced. Congratulations to your excellent video, dear friend. Greetings from Brazil.
Greetings Miss Yan and Team. Thanks so much for this last clip before the end of Year 2023. The river views look like one of those Adventures Movies/Jurassic Park. Amazing. It is a pleasure watching the UNSEEN. Hope You'll have a special for January first 2024. With that being said:" I WISH YOU YOUR TEAM, YOUR LOVE ONES AND THE WHOLE WORLD 🌎 A HAPPY AND FRUITFUL YEAR 2024. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
The landscape is amazing. There is something magical where mountains meet water and green fields. Even more special when the mountains are many peaks as far as one's eyes can see. Thanks Yan for another very interesting and beautiful video.
Another splendid videography! I must applaud you for being a brave young lady riding around the rural parts. It was interesting and joyful to see people go bamboo rafting. It was even more hilarious to see the bamboo raft crossing overhead a bridge and a huge tree in the middle of a road! The video was as if you've brought us all along in your travel adventure! A big thank you!
china is so beautiful and you do such a great job of presenting it in such an artistic and thoughtful way. i really love the drone shots ,and sometimes when i cant sleep i watch videos and the background music and beautiful scenery relax me and help me sleep!
Secondo me uno dei migliori upload di questa fantastica ragazza, qui in Italia siamo in molti che ti vogliamo bene. Lunga e felice vita nel nuovo anno 2024!
Another beautiful video. That landscape is amazing. The bamboo rafts reminded me of reading about fishermen steering their boats with their feet in Amy Tan’s book, Saving Fish From Drowning. The water there was so clear! Great drone videos!
Just gorgeous Yan, in good weather, eating natural foods from the land! Not imported! You seem to have the hang of your Scooter, a good thing for small local travel, and some medium distance no doubt: a pity we couldn't taste as well. You are an absolute joy, with your interactions. Much loved content.
Another great video in a beautiful location. Awesome drone shots also. I do wonder why everyone is so surprised the people are so friendly. I’ve never met anyone Chinese in the USA or anywhere else I didn’t like. I’ve befriended every family owned Chinese restaurant I go to as I’ve moved around. I even helped register the kids of one family at the local high school of my hometown restaurant. I’ve literally never had a bad experience, so I’m confused why people think like they do. I’m not only talking about my experience in the USA either. 🤷♂️
So sad, isn't it? Chinese people have no malice in their bones. They are kind, warm and generous once we get to know them. Also in China where they are cut off from the hostile western media, they have no idea how the collective outsiders perceive them with so much bias and prejuduce. Propaganda has succeeded in creating sheep mentality.
Just a note about “kaki" fruit, for anyone who might be curious. In English it is usually called persimmon, kaki is the usual name in Japanese. Dried persimmon are great chopped up and added to porridge oats or muesli, as well as being eaten uncooked. The Latin name for the tree is Diospyros kaki.
Your videos are absolutely captivating! I have a question...Do you remove all of your camera/video equipment each time you leave your bike? A helmet cam, bike cam & phone, a lot of work for how often you are getting off your bike. Thank you! I am so amazed not only by the places you go but also how much time and attention to detail you put into your work. Happy New Year from Saline, Michigan!

This place is amazingly full of mountains amidst the villages which adds much beauty and character to this place. The ride on the bamboo raft is so cool ❣️👍
Can't find any information about that "Stone Honey" seems like a local scheme, they put some artistry into them to look natural. Kinda reminds me of "Honeycomb toffee" or "Dalgona", made with sugar, corn syrup and baking soda+vinegar to make it airy
Your style is great, you're not scared to cliff walk, you travel very unseen parts and your mannerism is very soft and non offensive, thank you for all your work I really appreciate it. 🇨🇳

Nice and peaceful rural Guangxi . What a great place ! Guangxi province is regarded as the poorest province of China . I spent a month in Yunnan especially in Lijiang and surrounding. Old Dali is fabulous . I missed out Guangxi . Time was limited unfortunately. Watching from Malaysia.👍
From Assam North East India we are not very far away from Yunnan province. Wish we had friendly governments on both sides then surely tourism by road would be so much easier and cheaper without missing the countryside. Loved your video.❤

If you upload this type of video over a Chinese IP address, the video will be restricted. This is reality, this is "freedom of speech" in the West.

Thank you for the amazing video. China is beautiful. It has huge modern cities and classic rural villages.
China is growing fast and moving forward.
When traveling, there is no right way or wrong way. There are only experiences to be had.
it's a simple and beautiful tour coverage video.🌟
The mountains are such a sight.
Such beautiful scenery! The drone footage is just stunning! I like that you filmed some of your interactions with the local people. Thank you, Yan!
