I am more waiting to see what the future Avata 3 will hold in the world of FPV! Each new upgrade gets better and better! So, Glad we're not losing DJI here in the USA! Go, DJI!
The Neo filled a couple of specific gaps for my purposes. Still exploring it's limits..The price point made it a no brainer. News about the Flip is interesting. If it doesn't have FPV capability I'll pass. If it can't track a medium sized dog I'll pass. DJI needs to do a proper news release and outline the "go-to capabilities".
I have an Air 2S and a Mini 3 Pro. This is what I wanted so waited when the NEO came out. Tiny, better battery life, obstacle avoidance, better gimble and possibly camera. This is it for me.
Has anyone else noticed the asymmetrical 3 blade propellers? I saw a video of a proposed delivery drone a year or so back that utilized similar props. The reason for the design was for a drastically reduced sound signature at a slight decrease in performance. Combining that unique design with ducts could drastically reduce noise.
however they could easily setup a fixed camera orientation whenever toggle fpv mode if will exist of course! DJI should include fpv like in Neo at least to make new Flip more attractive for its price as expected to be some increased...🤔😎
If the Flip is a Neo with an upgraded camera, 3 axis gimbal and obstacle avoidance, I'm in. It would need to be usable without a controller or a phone only for the "portability" to be meaningful. From the initial release of the OG Mini, I screamed to anyone that would listen what a mistake it was to not build upon SmartCapture found in the Mavic Air and to remove "phone only" use -- particularly for a "portable" drone. The Flip becomes no more portable than the Mini 3 or Mini 4 if we're still talking about schlepping around a controller and pairing it to the drone before use. No thank you. I don't see any obvious way to evoke RC-less control so I am not holding my breath. Maybe it will work the way the Spark did: double tap the power button to hand launch what they called "gesture control."
@@skdragon8845 According to DJI forum, and to an every day increasing number of YT videos from disappointed owners, NEO is the King of flyaways. Problematic GPS, problematic sensors, needs zero wind to fly, doesn't fly over water and in relatively low light. All these combined with a low quality camera I think that justify my opinion. Remember my prediction, the sales of used NEO's will surge the next months

yes but Neo quality is so poor so it limits the use ! More a blogger friendly drone for online posts
3 propellers 90 degrees apart? Isn't one missing from the pictures?

I am waiting Flip. This is revolution .

That’s definitely the one neo and avata mix protection and battery life with camera…nothing comes close…PROFECT THIS !
If it is sub 250g, I like it. Would still like to fly it with goggles.
Amazing 🤩
it will be great if it fold up instead of down and have automatic fold/ unfold fx
I must see before buy, for now i like Neo better
make an actually good fpv drone for freestyle bruh
What he said ☝🏼
Idk if u want a drone unrelated to flip but this drone is definitely not a fpv drone as it has a 3 axis gimbal

Never gonna happen. It would need to be expensive af, and care refresh would need to be even more expensive.
I just want a 249g drone with a 1” sensor

hopefully the quality is ok otherwise waste of money, like the NEO quality is so bad so very limited use !
I must be the oldest flyer here, I still fly phantom 4pro hog
Hope this time not become very noisy
After the FLOP (Dji Neo), comes the FLIP
It's selling well , who told it's a flop product??
