There is no way my mom walked into my room as a kid and heard this and wasn't taken aback. These were my books. These were my intro to complex ideas. Man...what a simple time.
And then you realize the random encounter rate is ridiculously high and you’re like 😤, I just want to walk around and listen to this wonderful, relaxing music
This is an amazing song. Especially hits when you go on any journey in life, like leaving home for the first time and reflecting on how far you've come... That's always what it felt like to me anyway, it's a reflective song but in a hopeful way.
I love this overworld theme. I picture myself traveling on country road surrounded by trees and sweeping meadows with clear blue skies. Such a soothing melody. 😊
Can we ease the pain of those who lost? Can we know the cause of all this sorrow? Can we catch the tears of a broken world? Falling down upon the earth, falling down...
@@wiseguy2962 I'd say there are a few worse ones like "The Beginning and the End" which is a complete cacophony imo and even though I disagree with you, it's a respectable opinion
@@reidboggs4344 - yes, I definitely understand your point.. But i mean, Emotions is more 'emotional', as Migratory Birds is more thrilling, or adventurous, or exhilarating.. each on its own right..
I agree. I hum this one all the time, it's a testament to an amazing overworld BGM if it stays in your head like that. it also makes me pretty damn emotional (like the name lol)

Possibly best world map theme, or even map theme (who knows!?...), ever made for gaming..
I dunno, Wild Arms using Ennio Morricone was pretty too.
