The rise and fall of Rudy has been nothing less than spectacular. He could have stayed quiet as the NYC mayor who got the city through 9/11, wrote some books, got paid doing some appearances, went back to being a lawyer or whatever, now ....his legacy is melting like that dye off his head.
But when you are at the top, particularly when you failed your way to the top, it is hard to see the pitfalls
That would require him to be totally sane and sound of mind.
i assume that dye has seeped in his head too. that may explain it. or maybe he just breathed in too much dust on that tragic dye, i mean day.

Unpopular opinion, hubby and I kinda hope you don't get an audience back. We adored the show before, but it's one of our favourites now. It's not *not* because of the 75% increase in pursuing stuff only funny to you, which we also find hilarious. Thank you for giving us laughs when we needed them most over the last year.

I hope Seth continues to do his show without a live audience, except for staff. He has developed such an amazing rhythm to these segments, with lots of different voices and moving parts. It's so much better than the stop-start brought on by live audience reactions.

I don’t know why it’s happened, but recently he’s been much more relaxed, and as a consequence, much funnier. He’s taking more time over jokes, rather than speed reading a disconnected series of gags that he doesn’t sound at all invested in. I hope this continues.

Yeah I think the no audience is a big plus. I hope he keeps it that way, in-studio audience is such an outdated thing. You spend more time catering your jokes to a few hundred people rather than the millions watching at home. makes no sense. It works for some people, but Seth works better this way.

Seth, I enjoy ALL your impressions and thank you for making this pandemic lockdown enjoyable.
I feel like Seth's show has really gotten much better since the pandemic began. Without a live audience his humor has gotten really unique -- like he's just making it for his own amusement and has continued to pile on running inside jokes so that now they make up nearly the entire show. And it's so much better for it. I imagine it would be a bit inaccessible for someone just tuning in now, but for those who have followed over the long term, it's just gold!

Hey Seth! So I'm thinking about the return to having a live audience. You've got to know by the comments here alone that we love you w/out an audience. The freedom of your work makes everything you do and say soo much funnier for your taped/on line audience. The interactions between you and the crew and yourself (because you do laugh at what your jokes and topics are and we love it!) gives us a view of your personality that we've only been allowed to see in scripted form. And that has clearly not been enough. I think many of us look forward to not just what your jokes and topics are but your imitations, your wisecracks, your comments made directly to the audience and so much more. Perhaps you could have at least 1 night of this current format and then the others live? I'd be perfectly happy if your show ran just as it is. Just thought you should know how at least 2 fans feel about you. And thanks so very much for the expansion of your show like "comments" it's another 10 minutes of watching and hearing you crack up your fans. P.S. I am so curious how Seth's monologues will be when he's back with a live audience. I like the speed he talks with and all the voices and impressions.

My dad was a mail carrier in two of the Grosse Pointes (yes, there's more than one), and he carried mail to the Mafia (wouldn't that be a great book title?). He even paid a quarter's worth of protection money to a kid so no one would throw snowballs at him on his route. (It was the kid who was throwing the snowballs, btw.) And this all took place in the 1950s.
