Honest opinion, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force will able to catch up with global modern standards but Army will likely not able to primary reason is Army's modernization is still plagued by bureaucracy for which even today also you will notice Army procure equipment and does modernization which is one or two generation older than global standards

The most important is all the platforms need to be integrated in way that they function seemly together, this will optimise things. Once that is done we need to practice this for another 10 years and also do many excercises with other countries to reach full potential.

I think an exo skeleton and advanced military gear and some next gen anti ballistic Bulletproof gear is only things that keeping Indian army from being the best. Of course, Indian army is a little confused about the Type of Guns it requires they still confused between selecting the correct Calibre / Bullpup / Gas operated and between Battle / Assault / Marksmen type gun. But all armies had to go through that confusion as well and our army will also go through these shortcomings and come out in flying colours .
