I work in Addiction Medicine, and the lockdown measures have been very impactful to treating those with addiction (already difficult enough before the lockdowns). Like minds need to stick together, we must all stand behind the scientific facts and not let politics dictate our behaviors, We are a "Free People" here in America, whether or not most People know this or not but our governments have flipped flopped what it means to be a public servant to a public Authoritarian which is not based on any Law or Constitutional basis. "We the People" are Sovereign and not our Government servants. Let's get that straight first. When you pay a bounty to medical facilities to report covid-19 deaths that is what they did to the tune of 35 billion dollars. This data is entirely on the CDC site. It is not a secret.

I am British and we here are suffering the same BS from our government ( who would find difficulty in organising a piss up in a brewery ) as indeed we are also seemingly being led by only the opinions of self interested so called medical science experts. I am 71 years old. Have 38% lung capacity as a result of emphysema and immune system damage following Sepsis and ESBL. However I want to take sensible risk management measures and at the same time completely reopen all social and economic activity, else the younger generation will suffer for 20 to 30 years. Because of my compromised immune system, the verdict is still out as to whether my risk is greater with or without vaccination.
My roommate in Basic Training graduated from Hillsdale College and I had never heard of it, but recently I have seen three videos of persons speaking there. The speaker was one of them and I totally agree with him and the other two.

My humble yet immense respect to you Prof Atlas. . I am British and we here are suffering the same BS from our government ( who would find difficulty in organising a piss up in a brewery ) as indeed we are also seemingly being led by only the opinions of self interested so called medical science experts. I am 71 years old. Have 38% lung capacity as a result of emphysema and immune system damage following Sepsis and ESBL. However I want to take sensible risk management measures and at the same time completely reopen all social and economic activity, else the younger generation will suffer for 20 to 30 years. Because of my compromised immune system, the verdict is still out as to whether my risk is greater with or without vaccination.
It is sad to see how our nation of the UK has been goaded in to the one sided narrative spewed out by our inept government and their sage cronies.
My roommate in Basic Training graduated from Hillsdale College and I had never heard of it, but recently I have seen three videos of persons speaking there. The speaker was one of them and I totally agree with him and the other two.
