@@PaulMPW Wow man are you THEE Paul Weiber?? 1st heard this tune watching the trailer for the film; automatically entranced. This earworm is on eternal autoloop in my cerebral cortex!
is it better to have loved & lost, than to have never loved at all? to pay the price at any cost, for a moment of pleasure, that will soon lose it's treasure. i knew id get burned, i was playing with fire. but a heart full of love is a heart that is filled with desire. is it better to have loved & lost, than to have never loved at all? to pay the price at any cost, for a moment of pleasure, that will soon lose it's treasure. here i stand alone, ive lost everything.......
Only because 'Anchor' caused Regina Carrol's character to drive her motorcycle over a cliff...and all the evil that came before that. But still, what a love song!!!
@softsoundpop I don't know, the album version credited this song to The Nightriders, but for sure it was written by Paul Wieber. I guess The Nightriders were just a studio band, and Paul was the singer.
Best song ever 😎🇮🇪💋🤘
I have that 45 too- my most prized record ever. No better song has ever been written!!
You have me blushing Jerrica and I am very much flattered, thank you!!!!.............................Paul W.

Awesome! I've never heard the whole song outside the film! I've always wanted to her this.
LOVE THIS SONG..REGINA.CARROLL WAS HOT..AL ADAMSONS GIRL.
Love this song! There's something vaguely sinister about it.

@@starsapphirelee5714 to be honest, the song sounds sad to me
@@AbrasiousProductions it is sad... it's much harder to have loved and lost.

I'd say...its better to ride a buggy than a Buick, surfing is my life.
Bad example. My Buick is old enough to drink and I've had her for 10 years (11 in July). Built to last!🇺🇸
Surf's up, dude! 🐄🏄♀️
