I worked at an elementary school for 3 months and cried in my car everyday. I hated it. I saved the number in my phone under the contact name "The Pitts of hell ". I wanted to quit a million times and the students didn't like me. The staff had a few nice people but the majority of them were as dry as construction paper.

I've been a nurse for 9 yrs I just recently stop due to medical issues but no it's not for everyone... I just love helping people and you can learn so much from them if you take the time to get to the residence... I must say I loved it I miss my residence so much they become family after a while
I've been working in Dietary since I was 16 and yeah at first I was afraid of the residents and the rehabilitation patients but eventually you get use to them and some of them are pretty interesting
I couldn't even eat my cinnamon toast crunch hearing about the woman and the man.

sherona chin yessss I understand that people want to watch their kids on a video camera all day, but for someone who doesn’t have kids trying to take care of them is so nerve wracking being watched ! Quit after 2 days
I worked at Sonic..worst job ever. I was bullied nonstop by my coworkers and managers (including my cousin who was friends with them) and they humiliated me, locked me in the bathroom or cooler room...one of the days I remember someone got an order wrong and the shift manager threw the burning hot chili on the floor screaming at me, calling me shit, saying everything I did was shit... and making me get on my hands and knees to scoop up and clean it with my bare hands....while they stood around me laughing..I stayed for about 5 months because I needed the money for my disabled mom and sister and I couldn't find a better job with those hours for college..

My worst job was working as a stocker at Walmart. On top of being a strenuous Jon, I found out I was pregnant 4 going on 5 weeks. I ended up quiting, because my managers was mean and I was not getting any hours. Also, I was cramping bad everyday I went to work, so happy it's over. I was blessed with a desk job and excited about my baby :)!!!!

Bawse I loved your video!! I'm 19. OMG I was workin at a nursing recently & quit cuz of the same issue me not getting along wit the boss. This was @ Villa St. Francis. WORST JOB EVER specifically "DIETARY DEPT." 😤 Shit get real up in there. It can get risky. They really aren't too nice bout giving breaks either. & YES its VERY HOT there. & YES EVERYONE @ The nursing home is soo thirsty even the residents. Residents do grab people at times. One guy grabbed me too & tried to kiss up my hand & arms. LORD I WAS SOO SCARED. I told my supervisor they laughed -__- 🔫 They think we don't work enough period, when they the ones sitting on they ass ain't doin shit. They lie bout us getting late too. I can definitely relate with everything you said. I thought nursing home wasn't gonna be bad like that either. & yes THEY LIE BOUT PPL NOT "CLOCKING IN" & this WED IMA GO GET MY MONEY. If I DONT see a check. IMA CALL DA POLICEEEE. I'm currently looking for another job too. 😐😳

I'm a 34 year old nurse. I've been a nurse for 10 years. And before that I was a nursing assistant. I can totally understand your feelings towards the environment. You were young and didn't understand. When we are young assume we are think we are invincible and will live forever. At that age we don't realize that any one of those "nursing home ppl" could one day be us.
Right I understand. This is how I felt back then, but after my mom being in places like that it didn't bother me as much

Girl I feel you. My mother is a nurse and she works at one of those rehabilitation centers and I don't understand how she does it. I went up there one time to visit her for lunch and that was it. Lol never again.

Chillllle i worked ONE shift at a nursing home AND QUITE, granted i was a licensed cna but that shift was nothing like clinicals, i had a patient with a serious illness as well, and yes it can be a lot but i would've told that heffa something before i left lol... GREAT STORY! (also your lippie is everrrrrrrrry thing)

Girl I totally understand. I used to work for a nursing home, too.nowadays,unless it says only certain ages acceptable, a nursing home can legally take anyone who needs to be institutionalized. Some people are there due to age.some due to illness. Some people are there due to a complete inability to function in the real world. Some,their families just threw them away.

I worked in the cafeteria at some schools. Some were nice and like a family, some of the workers were so bossy or didn't have a real supervisor. We didn't get a snack or a break. My first real job was in fast food in a rest. chain and I had some horrible bosses there. 2 jobs I had to work in polyester...ick. I don't think I would like working with seniors either...

im 16 a few weeks ago i fired myself from a job like this. but i worked at a hotels kitchen. i had 2days training. and 16h a day in the kitchen . 4days work 4off. i worked there for a week each day 16h a day and everyone was so bossy and mean i couldnt take it and left

OMG I went through the Samething i quit in 3 days what I seen when i was there scared me , the supervisor was mean and racist the patients scared me one little lady lied on me and got me in trouble, the smells made me sick to my stomach they had me doing everything my work plus everyone else's smh

This reminds me of when I did dietary for a year at a hospital. It was hell!! it was in the bowels of the hospital and the older black women were so rude and territorial. We had a whole floor that we had to take care of. It was craziness!!! You coulda sued them for harassment. Especially that ole heffa who was on your back!! That sounded like the job from hell.
