This is just an ad. I'm a millennial earning six figures and grew up pretty privileged. I see my younger self a lot like these guests. And no offense to them, but they don't seem representative of what the modern-day Filipino Gen Z is. A few of the Gen Z I know are barely getting by. They can barely afford to live alone, much less spend on wants or save for the future because they are tied down by financial responsibilities and the rising cost of living. These kids seem nice and successful, but I don't think they represent the majority of what their generation is going through right now. Juackin might be the only guest who represents the average Gen Z. The others feel like the Gen Z 10%. Which isn't bad, pero if you really wanted to showcase the Filipino Gen Z, you'd focus more on the average joe.
Im Gen Z, my budgeting is different but really works naman. During payday, bayad agad lahat ng bills. Wala akong ina-allocate buwan-buwan kasi buwan-buwan iba-iba ang bills. Also, bigay sa family, minsan iba-iba rin. After matapos mag bayad ng bills and magbigay sa family, dito na ako mag allocate. So yung natira, ito sila: 80% Savings (Under Savings meron akong - Emergency - Travel Savings - End of Quarter - End of Year - Usable Savings - ito yung savings na pwede ko galawin anytime kung na-short ako) 20% Personal Expenses (luho, food, transpo, etc. most likely daily exp) -- And then, before another payday, bibilangin ko kung ano yung balance ko. After ko mabilang, magpa-partition ako. 50% Savings 30% Buffer or Added to the Daily Expenses 20% Reallocated to the main sahod on the next payday By this, nama-manage ko nang maayos ang pera ko w
Correct. Mga burgis or well off itong mga to. Sariling salary own lahat. No responsibilities. Blessed and lucky ppl. Medyo angat yun sample sa real majority of gen z
Great format! I’d love to see more. but it still feels a bit like an ad and doesn’t fully represent Gen Z as a whole. I really love the topic, though, and I just wish it explored a bit more depth. Looking forward for the next Episodes.
As a 19yo who is working, I budget mine differently din. 2nd year college student na ako, wala namang bills na kailangan bayaran kasi 'di naman ako maluho tsaka parents ko pa nagpapakain sa akin. 25% savings dahil ayaw kong nakaupo lang pera ko haha 50% investments/opportunity fund dahil meron akong business in mind that would need a good amount of capital 25% wants para sa sarili ko I have this mindset na habang maaga pa lang, I should take risks kasi wala namang mawawala kung hindi mag work ang isang idea ko kasi that failure will soon lead me to success anyway. Also, I already reached my savings goal this year kaya I'm confident.
Dapat Yung tanong dito do they live alone? Or are they still living with their parents? Kasi I don't see rent expenses, water, electricity and all sa kanila. Kasi if they still live with their parents, they're not the people we should listen to.
Don't be pressured. Take things at your own pace. Don't compare yourself to some of these guests because it's obvious that some of them were born with a safety net in the form of wealth.
99pesos? For 7days? Hindi ba 149? Kasi yun ang pinapalod ko? Ano to lokohan? Ah 10 pala 12 ata yung aken kailangang ko pag sa grab hailing app/sa pag-ride.
I hope they'll feature minimum wage earner too

omg! this is a really good way of managing money, i’m 22 and ill be trying this method!! thanks for sharing ❤
This is realistic. Love it!
Btw, WFH ako so goods yung budgeting plan ko. If hindi kayo WFH, need nyo siguro lakihan yung allocation sa Personal Expenses.
Not realistic for common gen Z's like me, parang pa elite level na toh which undoubtedly doesn't represent most gen z pips

So true, walang sa expenses nila ung bills haha

“Real Gen Z Filipinos” as opposed to… fake ones?
They are real gen Z's because of their age.. I don't know..ahahah
probably means that mas relatable sila to the general masses/demographic ng recreate. walang super rich, walang super poor
As a 19yo who is working, I budget mine differently din. 2nd year college student na ako, wala namang bills na kailangan bayaran kasi 'di naman ako maluho tsaka parents ko pa nagpapakain sa akin.
25% savings dahil ayaw kong nakaupo lang pera ko haha
50% investments/opportunity fund dahil meron akong business in mind that would need a good amount of capital
25% wants para sa sarili ko
I have this mindset na habang maaga pa lang, I should take risks kasi wala namang mawawala kung hindi mag work ang isang idea ko kasi that failure will soon lead me to success anyway. Also, I already reached my savings goal this year kaya I'm confident.
What's your work po, gusto ko rin po sna ng idea San pede magpart time
Not realistic. Get a real Gen-Z in some status of life not that Gen-Z that comes from a wealthy and Nepo family hahahhaa

Dude hindi naman sa nang-aano but dude looks older than his age 23 😳
eme eme tong mga accla na to, nka plan yang mga yan
Hindi ba una ang bills kesa saving?
2:00 .. need a friend like her
nakakapressure omg. Almost 20 this year and i'm so broke nabubuhay lang ako sa allowance from my parents 🤛

6:13 real.
