This is AWESOME....I just set up some of these Lemon RX stabs and could not figure out how to get master to work......you saved me from just giving up and flying with only partial functionality. You ROCK!
In a thousand years I would not have figured out to uncheck Auto Detect in order to get the master gain on the lemon stabilizer to work. Good work guys.
I used to fly a FUTABA T9CAP for ages..with mods for multichannel and all manner of stuff..then got out of flying. Got back in couple years ago and got a cheapo T8SG+ V2. Just ordered the TX16S from you and saw you had this helpful vid! Thanks for that. Also..the Opti-Grab..OMG ROFL. Sure made me laugh.
Spent the day attempting a Spektrum to switch modes with my TX16s, unsuccessfully. I'll order this when the end pins are back in stock. Diversity too! Thanks guys.

Fantastic explanation of how to do this set up. Worked perfectly for me except my gyro was balancing backwards. I just flipped the dip switches and now I'm ready for a maiden flight on my balsa Fokker D7. Thanks guys. One thing I didn't understand is why did we set up switch A and F? what do they do?

Can you please make a video on setting up a stabilizer like the FMS Flex 2. running a Flysky 8channel receiver and having a hard time setting up flight modes. How do I get the stabilization to switch from off to on? Do I need to setup flight modes to the channel the stabilizer is connected to?

Thank you for this video. I was able to setup for my model. My question is: does the lemon RX + have telemetry ? I am not getting the normal RX / TX disconnected or telemetry failed audio from my Radiomaster tx16s that i normally get when connected to a Flysky RX or Radiomaster RX. Let me know how to set that part up or if there is NO telemetry available on this Lemon RX Stab +. Thank you in advance.
This pretty much bolsters the print out I got from RCGroups dated 04/05/19. This works with my T18 and any OpenTX radio. Binds well with DSM X2F mode as I do not have "auto".
Need some help when 3 way switch is set for the gyro and stability gyro when I hold elevator stick down and I switch from stabilisation to gyro the elevator moves any ideas why it won't stay same thru all switch stages
so will this go back to level when the sticks are released? like "safe" or is it just as3x mode? i have the admiral rx600sp that has gyro(as3x) and recovery(which is kinda like safe but not nearly as good, not intended to fly in that mode all the time) so i the lemon like the spektrum more or the admiral? i want the plane to go back to level when the sticks are centered.
I'm Have a lot of issues with getting the full gyro working. Iv only can get ax3x to cut on and off only by change the offset for ch 5 to 95percent. Got the gain working but can't get it to go into panic mode. Please help

My v tail servos are in a y harness that can be disconnected if need be, too. I have the dip switches set for v tail and didn't use v tail mixing in the tx either, as they instructed. Thanks

I've got this receiver. If I understand the Lemon instructions/information correctly the Stab mode is not a flying mode like Spektrum SAFE but to be considered more like a panic mode. Is that your understanding? Fly it in gyro or manual and if you get into trouble flip to Stab, gain level flight and then return to your other flying mode, right? Thanks.
I installed the lemon receiver as you showed. When it's on it makes the correction with the aileron but it snaps to the max position. I can adjust it down with the s1 knob but it still snaps to the max position. Is this suppose to make gradual adjustments like with the safe mode on a spektrum receiver? When I tilt the glider it changed but snaps to the max position. When I level the glider either the right or left side is maxed out. It won't go to the neutral position. Is this suppose to do that? I purchased two Lemon Plus receivers but with the internal module, I get a range of 100-150 meters only... I just lost a model... Is there a problem with my tuning? Do you guys have a video on fine-tuning? I thought to get an external module to extend the range, but not sure which module will support this receiver?
Interested in the range test too. I bought one of these and took out my plane today to do a range test and see 0 rssi no matter how close I am all around the plane. When I go to low pwr mode on the radio I can only get around 25ft away before I lose connection. Any ideas?
@@gigadodo00 you wont get RSSI with this particular rx as theres no telemetry built in, as for range testing make sure antennas are away from electrcal sources like lipo esc etc set model about 2 feet from the ground and carry out another range test.
Interesting, but for me with all the new RID nonsense, I have moved to UMX planes only (use Spektrum DX9) and micro sub 250 quads are all I own and fly and use original Jumper T8SG No registration, no RID rules, etc. All my other 25+ aircraft (planes) are now static display on my ceiling...LOL
"Guys, we're not using Spektrum here". Love this. I was a Spektrum fanboy for years and years. No more. Buying a RadioMaster soon.

Make sure to chose 'auto'! I had a tough time setting up the 8th channel until I re-bound in auto (ch8 == AUX3 for gyro gain)
