I've said it before, and here it comes again! I LOVE your videos! I laugh more at these than any other fishing videos, maybe ANY other videos. I definitely 'preciate you!
@@CaptCollierdefinitely! best one for me was a 10ft white shark that blind sided a seal that was stealing my salmon I wish we had gopros back then I about shat myself, we all screamed like little girls lol
Glad to see a new video from you. I’m sure you know those big aj’s will slurp down a small to medium size bonito, which can sometimes be easier to catch than some of those other bait fish.
Man what a video! One of my favorites you have put out. I have never caught an aj, I can only imagine. That part with the shark had my heart pumping. So awesome!
Get a boat rod, 6/0 penn, tie on a grappling hook and drop it off an overpass and hook a tractor trailer. That’s AJ fishing. Reef Donkeys fight all the way to the boat
Excellent... Great job guys and very refreshing as not a single curse word. Given that, I have subscribed and will return for more fishing fun. Thank you...
We got owned at the Swingle on our Avett's. Managed to snag a smaller one high in the water column on the jig though. Wish we had the same success as y'all!
Dang that sucks. You win some you lose some I guess. Try dropping one bait at a time down and pull off the wreck when you get hooked up. That’s the only way I do it now if I’m specifically targeting jacks. Them big ones seem to wreck you no matter how much drag you got in them. You’ll get em next time
Mannn They don't call them Reef Donkey's for no reason .. They officially stop being fun after the 3rd one you hook...🤣🤣 Anything after that you asked for trouble...
It’s my goal to make awesome videos like this! Great work Capt, and congrats on your epic battle. I agree Amberjack and great eating and it’s nice it don’t take many to fill the freezer. Keep filming brother and tight lines!! O yeah! I have a lot better success with the sabiki rigs when I tip them with a tiny piece of squid. I didn’t see in the video if you were doing that or not. Later!
I don’t fish enough that far offshore to know. Generally first light at the floater rigs 90-120miles is your best bet for that. The Yellowfin bite is better in the spring
U usually do catch clean and cook's last couple videos u just catching them and having fun and that's what it's about but I like it when you bring them home clean them up and cook some good recipes
Well done on video and slaying the sea donkey back breakers! Post video of you eating that linguine worms! Ha Yellow tail is their cuz on west coast, no worms. You were the man pulling in two!
I caught a couple smaller jacks that day that I didn’t even put in the video, so yea I was whooped lol. And nah , I just try not too look at the worms when I’m cutting them up to fry haha
Hey Capt.Collier ,, I just subbed you and I actually LIVE in Bermuda. I can truly say they are pretty and very tasty to eat. try some pan fried sometime.
Captain Brandon I'm trying to find your vid that at the end you were washing you boat and trying to find out what brand you where using to flush and clean
@@CaptCollier I just meant it works for me. A very light trim on the tailfin causes them to swim ever so slightly different and stand out from the rest of the fish. They still kick and swim but it's just a little awkward and game fish notice.
I've caught all the big AJ:s I ever want to catch. 40-50 lb is a Beast, 90-110 lbs.. F that! Too old and smart for that now. but it's fun to watch you younger guys get abused by Reef Donkey's! Good job guys!
Far as im concerned they are top 3 pound for pound we catch. I dont know how many times a customer had said "can we catch a big fish"?? Well certainly and right to one of our 300ft wrecks we go and in the Keys the average is size large. The customer quickly realizes maybe they werent ready for a "big fish" 🤣🤣🤣 we call them Googan Killers in the Keys
Yep! Lol everyone says they want to catch one until they catch one 😅 I’ll always enjoy watching the show them eventually finish reeling them up after they can’t take it anymore
There are a lot of folks who will never understand the deep internal drive to succeed at fishing.
I know it takes a ton of work most people couldn’t do it
For people who don't understand quads and trolling with lp's
Most have the outboard engine. I think the bigger boats have internal drives or jet drives on them .
Worth the wait man. Now that's fellowship! Rock-'n'-roll country style man!.God Bless the fun.
The banter was the best part of the video! Well done fellas!
Welcome back, good to see you again
Capt, your ausom ,I'm on the Ashley River, My Home, on My Pearson, Sailboat, Charleston SC, Fishing and Bait multitubes,, Keep ReelenCapt, Thanks
Very cool!
Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! I’m going after those donkeys this weekend, weather allowing.
Good luck and stay hydrated!
Awesome video those AJ,s get the blood pumping
No doubt about that. I love it
Awesome vid Capt! Fun watching you guys put in the Work! AJs are no Joke.
Thanks Capt, you need to take your beast of a rig out there and get on some

great video! Awesome to see ya'll having so much fun. Keep the content coming

Oh Man that was cool!!!!
Best ending ever I love the rush of a shark chasing the bait around the boat
It’ll get the blood pumping that’s for sure! Lol

Nice AJs capt did was y’all fishing foul river the other day
Thanks! And yes, I’ve made several trips out of fowl last week

That was just a downright fun video!
I thought I was fired up till that footage at the end hit when y’all were just messing around and teasin bulls 😂
Glad ya enjoyed it! Yea those sharks going crazy will get the blood pumping for sure haha
Entertaining video. I live in Moble and will defenrtly book a tripre trip with you.

White trout is a fantastic fish to use as live bait offshore! King Mackerel love them!
Yep! And big snapper too!
Excellent tight lines!👊🏼 hopefully make it down there some day!

Headed to orange beach on Thursday, heard any reports on where the yellowfin may be at? Want to try and catch some on poppers

Well well well look who's back

I have been so curious about chubs as bait. I appreciate you showing some chub as bait. I bet they can catch some surprise monsters. 😉
Yep! Sharks and barracuda’s seemed to like them more unfortunately
Hey Capt.Collier ,, I just subbed you and I actually LIVE in Bermuda. I can truly say they are pretty and very tasty to eat. try some pan fried sometime.
Really!? They get a bad rep around here. Guess I need to try one some day. Thanks!
That's a GREAT day fishing!!!!
Yes it was!
Nice one guys, frst I've seen you. I'll be back.
Thanks! I appreciate it
Too much fun. Great video guys.

Awesome Branden, I'll take some of that please 😂. Great trip

Let’s goooooo y’all killed it
Thanks dude
Those are some BIG fish!
Oh yeah! Only took 3 fish to stuff the boat fish box
Definatly would have liked to see the fillets off those . And whats the best way to cook them.
I’ll do a CCC next trip I go for them. Blackened is my favorite
great job !!!!!
Dang Captain, what are you going to do if you catch a big one? That was a fun video to watch! You guys were having a blast .
Guess I’m just gonna get my butt whooped even more, but ima still get him up lol thanks
Looking for a good 2 speed left hand for snapper and grouper
Not sure if Avet makes a left hand version of their reels but the LX G2’s or HXW series are powerhouse reels with a lot of drag.
Captain Brandon I'm trying to find your vid that at the end you were washing you boat and trying to find out what brand you where using to flush and clean
Salt away. It was a couple videos back where I was catching flounder on the fishbites brawler

Trim the tail fin on your bait. Game on.
I don’t think that’s necessary for jacks. I want my bait going crazy down there

Ok, I hear you. Just a bit of info
Jimmy Tran the man!!
I don’t think he was upset that he didn’t catch one that day 😅
Man I’m at work in Louisiana just talking about this … how sore was your arm the next day 🤣
Haha my arm wasn’t bad, but my back had alittle ache in it 😅
Did the Chubs crap all over the boat?

Yes. Blew my mind

Personaly, I don’t these fish are with the effort.
I like the fight they give. I’m sure when I get older I won’t care too much for them lol but I do like them blackened myself.
Ole Rubber Lips. Full of worms and waste of good bait
