Richie mate this was amazing! Made my evening for sure. Those Stock ESC's on 3s are risky. Works for some but not worth attempting unless going brushless and happy to waste a perfectly good ESC. I know that's your intention so all good. Great vid mate 😂😂
If you like the 104001 you would love the Buggy „V.4B“ by Vkar. It is stock 3S capable, has both, an unbranded 60Amp ESC and an unbranded 3350KV Robitronics Motor running 80km/h out of the box and costs 286USD (free shipping) on Aliexpress. I upgraded mine with a 4S capable 120A ESC so it now runs over 100km/h without changing anything else than the battery and ESC! 🙌🏻 check it out!
That looked like a brushed system. I rarely see a brushed system survive 3S. Brushed motors are usually 2S only, so why any manufacturer include an ESC that can handle 3S voltage?

This is not for me 150€ for a Wltoys roller. And other 120€ to change all electric to a decent 3665 combo. I can buy a HPI or some Traxxas 1/10 in my local store and have 2 years warranty not like Bangood or Aliexpress. So definitely not for me. In my opinion big mistake from wltoys this car. Yep definitely.

My 124019 does 100mph precisely on 2s but what the hell do I know.....also I pushed the 124019 to 70mph with a $38 brushless combo but what the hell do I know. 120euros for an upgrade?just $38 but what the hell do I know. ....0h wait I did both those upgrades and videod them BUT that meant I had to leave my armchair (critic)

Maybe it's me how are wrong. But a decent combo Surpass Hobby it's 50€ plus a servo 12€ plus 25€ a Dumborc X6 ad 30€ for a 3S and some wheels. I think it's nice looking but not for me. They may should sale a roller with no electronics. I hade bad experience with the electronics all my 3 Wltoys had problems I spend more than what the car is in any of them burn 3 ESC 1 servo 1 motor 1 transmitter. So electronic of this wltoys is toy grade it is what it is. I'm not like to talk bad about because they are great cheap entry cars. But this isn't really cheap anymore. And that's where I think it's the mistake but as I told you my friend maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I don't know. But if you have almost the stuff to upgrade then it's fine but for me invest that money when I can get a VRX 1/10 spirit Brushless buggy RTR how does 60mph stock and same price. Make me think that wltoys mistake the price this time. They have a huge community and may that's more important. How know. What ever I like your videos. That happened to my 144001 2 weeks ago, when I tried a 3s as well. It went into the flower bed and started shooting rocks at me.

1:37 as soon as it gets that spark you see it kick on and smoke, luckily nothing was damaged, other than an esc

My guess is never run 3s lipo on stock system lol..It's ok on the smaller lighter wltoys stuff but not the 1/10 scale im sure lol
