always dug Malcolm Travis pop drum sensibilities..straight from the Bun E. Carlos school. wish more people realized how important this band was - nothing else touched this.
I have seen Bob a dozen times, with Sugar, solo, and his new band. Even with Husker Du in the 80s. Never once have I been disappointed in a performance.
@@johnleonard317 The first time I Sugar (Beaster tour Summer '93) they were spot on and I was blown away. I saw them again for the FUEL tour in '95 (I think) and they sounded like dog shit. I've looked at some Husker vids and it was mixed. Some good, some bad. Mould was really awesome when he had that trio with Anton Fier and Tony Maimone, Workbook and Black Sheets of Rain. That IMO was his best work to date. But on the other hand, what do I know?
I still have this CD. I didn’t realize there were others still listening to these guys.
We’re still here
I still have mine too. We ain't going now where
A little older and heavier but still listening
As time goes by it’s the smaller 90’s bands that I listen to more and more.
Always Loved Sugar, great band.
Goosebumps. Sugar was massive. Of course, Mr. Mould was awesome in every incarnation, but somehow this band is so transcendent. 💝💝💝
I was in the audience watching this.
BOB is ROCK !!!
But, he's NOT Bob Rock. Thank goodness.
Thank you for posting this gig, I was there.

Hell yea, the drumming is badass
I can remember every frame of this video. The whole thing is still buried deep in my memory banks somewhere
Recently reissued with live material check it out. Copper Blue and Beaster.
nice!
Felt rushed…. but still my fav
Not a good idea bringing that melody higher- loses it.
He always sang off tempo and his songs never sounded right. I know he's a rock genius and all that but why did he sound so off when he was live?
he doesn't sing off ; he's just changed the tune. And you're damn right : that's not as good as the record !
I saw his new band on Letterman and he sounded pretty good.
He wrote the music he can sing and perform the music anyway he wants
