I've listened to this song about 20 times today and my interpretation of it is it has to do with the fear, despair and anxiety we felt during covid lockdowns, the anger and divisive feelings we felt during the riots, and now the united distrust and hatred we feel for the government since they probably orchestrated all of the above. Who knows the song could actually be about going for a walk in the forest.
