Thanks for this - very useful demos :) Just in case it helps anyone, here are some of the timings of the various tests in the video: 0:53 Studio Jazz Ballad 2:01 Studio Jazz Uptempo 2:35 Rousseau JDX Ballad 3:45 Rousseau JDX Uptempo
Question can you comment on the tuning tendencies of these mouthpieces? I.e. is one more sharp in the octave LH up for those who like to play with a relaxed voicing? Or are both just locked in?
Are these mouthpieces as "free blowing" as the JJ DV's? I am trying to figure what tip opening I should order of the Studio Jazz. For reference, I play a JJ DV 7* with a 2.5 reed on my Tenor. I don't want to spend that much money on a Alto MPs since it will only be for occasional ballads. Tenor is my main horn.

How do these mouthpieces compare to the Jody Jazz Jet and HR*?

I think the Studio Jazz is better sounds more versatile and rounded. The JDX sounds like a one trick pony to me
Thank you! They each have such a unique sound profile
The information is not true. These mouthpieces are not in the store.🤣
