Explore New Trails at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve

If you haven’t been to LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve lately, you’re in for a big surprise! Fresh on the heels of a new Tallgrass Prairie Adventure exhibit within Creek Bend Nature Center, we’ve added nearly two miles of trails. Soon, they’ll be dotted with interpretive signs that explain the diversity of ecosystems surrounding the nature center. Join along as our naturalists explore the trails to show you a maple sugar bush, a wet meadow, an oak barrens - and many other vibrant habitats.
