I finally found a trader whose style perfectly resonates with mine. Your strategy suits my preferences and personality as a trader. Who the hell wants to stare at the screen the whole day and predict where prices might go? This strategy is definitely gold, and your channel is my ultimate favorite! No non-sense teaching and straightforward sharing of practical techniques. More power to you and to your channel! - M, your avid subscriber from the Philippines
In the last two years i watched hunderts of trading videos, tried alot of different strategies, tried to catch reversals and tried to catch 1:x RRs.. i just did not get an edge. This video opened my eyes! I backtested this over the weekend and it´s super fun and it´s working pretty well for me. Really looking forward to the markets next week. Thank you!
@@kzen848 hey, sorry for not replying earlier.. i just saw your comment yesterday.. it‘s working pretty well.. currently i‘m working on my mental game.. i tend to overtrade and rush into trades because of fear of missing out on opportunities.. but i‘m getting better..
Hey stoic, your other two videos pulled me out of drawdown after using ICT concepts over the past 9 months. I did 1 day of learning and bang 80% winrate over the past month. Thank you for your work and for sharing :)
This dude just made trading easy, like, I rather try this than sit in front of my computer screen for hours, usung all the indicators in the world and still cannot understand what the hell is going on. Please make more videos, boss, you're the man. 🕺 🕺
Yep it's really not that complicated, it's a measure of knowing where you want to enter and risk management but also taking into account the biggest factor that the markets are random, sure they go up down and consolidate but that's because that's what price does anyway it goes up down and then doesn't really go anywhere but price is still moving, so even if you think you have the best entry it could fail that's why when we see traders spend so much time looking at charts and having an "A+ setup" fail it's quite amusing, not to be mean but it' just a waste of time. I was learning this stuff for 3-4 years and jumping strategies everywhere i was even brainwashed by ICT into thinking his methods were the best despite not being profitable, when i actually found that just following the trends works better. Something ICT is opposed to cause you know he knows best and has an alleged 90% win rate, but can't even beat Robbins cup like he said he would, i lost respect for the guy after that and i no longer follow him cause he's full of it. Sure some stuff may work at times like gaps and turtle soups, but none of that stuff is his invention and none of that stuff will make you profitable without context, nothing he has to offer is of any worth to me and i can't believe i used to sit through hours and hours of lectures (and rants) to not be profitable and thinking this stuff was really complicated because i was brainwashed to think that way, when it's not. It's simple learn stuff sure but look at the charts yourself back test yourself and make your own model see what works for you don't listen to everything people say and don't be afraid to break conventional trading rules, there is no right or wrong way to trade despite what some may think, everyone's journey is different and unique to them.
Stoic is the best trader I've seen on TH-cam, most straight forward, all of the above. I send your video to my students on my Discord server all the time. All positive feedback from them.
Hey stoic this is Kfx, just wanna use this opportunity say thank you I appreciate your effort and God will continue to bless you more and more amen♥️ Much love from Nigeria 🇳🇬♥️✨
Double top will break previous lows in a range. 'Never buy high, never sell low'. Typo at 14:19. Trend or range. Trend or range. Ability to read price..ty
This is what I've found to be one of my biggest leaks. I will be going along making good scalps almost "knowing" where price is going next, then it will pause into a tight range for a period, I will say to myself "time to take a break" but I will continue taking trades and suddenly start getting REAMED.
30:41 I'd expect that high to be run because it failed to produce a "real" new low. Moreover, if you added a momentum oscillator, you would have probably noticed a bullish divergence. I would have captured many more points there.
Appreciate the time you put into this. The share of experience and models are invaluable. Years of experience and observation condensed into a few videos! Thank you
Just watched 2 videos. Im new to your channel and i gotta say thank you for all the advice your are giving for free it will help me a lot! . You have a new subscriber🙌🏼. Love from The Netherlands❤️
Hi Stoic. What is POI ? Also , could you clearly explain what UNMITIGATED S&D ZONE is please , in plain English. You have an excellent voice for listening to . Your voice is loud , clear , and your annunciation is perfect. Thank you for your video presentations.
Amazing Video. This came at the perfect time for me after I went on TILT. You opened up and explained this full layout in a way I have never heard it done before. Grateful!!!
Thank you! After back testing yesterday and forward testing today, I'm already incorporating a few things from the video and seeing results. 1% better everyday.
Thank you so much for this valuable information. It opens my eyes about market structure, trending and ranging I've understood about trading in trending structures, you have taught it too in the other video But can you teach us specifically how to trade in ranging market? At least how to figure out the next move of the price
I get too many losses anticipating a bounce off the ema because it just goes flat into a range often. Then when I recognize expansion failed and I attempt to enter at the extreme of the potential range, it blows thru the top/bottom.
thanks for this great strategy, could you please touch on how to refer to or use the Sellside of the curve in a MMBM and how to use the buy side of the curve in a MMSM, thanks.
11:27 Following your rules about what's considered a valid/protected high or low, wouldn't the second HL, from the uptrend, be actually the protected one given that the "weak low" you fails to form a new HH? Thank you
The missing part to me in this strategy is the pullback validation. When a retracement should be considered as a structural pullback...Any small pullback might lead to a new BOS and put the bias into the wrong side of the market. A video expalining that part would be great
I think the same. I asked Stoic a question in his market structure video about how to validate pullbacks based on my prior knowledge of DTFX. Hopefully he will get an answer for me!
Hi mate, In the "non Negotiable Trading Rules", the third bullet... at the end you wrote "...Never Buy High, Never Buy Low"... I think you mean "Never Sell Low" Anyway, top notch content 👌
Great video, thanks a million, really very educational, but I would really like to see how you explain or apply these rules and your setup on a live chart.
Hey stoic, when backtesting how do you retain information? Do you only train your eyes to see price or do you make notes of what's happening? I've never been very clear on backtesting and am a bit dumb.😅Hope you got what I'm saying & would very much appreciate your response
The fact you discovered these basic trend concepts after years of ICT is beyond me. It's basically like trying to drive a F1 before even getting a driving license. And you're not the only one: I see more and more ICT traders switching to DTFX and being literally astonished by the weak H/L + strong H/L concept lmfao. Good content for n00bs tho, even if it's a copy pasta from DTFX.
Hi, I am very new to this so please excuse my beginner question. Are imbalance considered unmitigated zones/candles and fair value gaps? Thank you very much!
Stoic, great video. When using the sell-stop/buy-stop entries are you waiting for a candle close above the low or high and then a retrace to avoid getting a wick through that then fails?
G'day mate, appreciate the well explained video, I'm watching it once every couple of days. For those of that can only trade London open for an hour or so, do you have a futures contract that you'd recommend?
Thanks for watching, if you found this video helpful, consider sharing it with other traders. 🙏
Thank you sir....
best video on yoiutube yes!!!
thanks stoic great video! only one question, dont you have to wait for the candle to close to see if it will be an engulfing candle?
Non-Negotiable Trading Rules, the 3rd one has to be corrected as "Never Sell Low" instead of "Never Buy Low"

POI is a point of interest. The unmitigated S&D is the zone that is responsible for breaking structure and was left unmitigated (untapped, untested).
Thank you so much for your perfectly clear answer. Sincerely appreciated.

Sir great video. Can you help me understand the logic of why sell at sell stop and buy at buy stop? Isn’t like buying or selling breakouts?
It’s an entry technique. Yes, technically you are buying a lower timeframe breakout but trade should be taken based on HTF POI.
You've become better at explaining this strat than your mentor! Keep this going! 🙏🙏💪

Stoic, great video. When using the sell-stop/buy-stop entries are you waiting for a candle close above the low or high and then a retrace to avoid getting a wick through that then fails?
Ideally you want to wait for the sweep and enter on sellstop or buystop catching the momentum after the sweep.

When scalping, do you measure out your 1:1 or do you roughly estimate it by eye?

Do you look for body break when price creates HH or HL?
Yes, body closure
how do you clearly differentiate between a range and a trend.
