In n Out is good but in reality it’s a grilled ground beef sandwich more than a burger. For the price, consistency and service it’s the best drive thru “burger”…. In N Out is a .270 hitter that hits a home run every once in a while… it plays well enough to stay in the lineup. Rarely an error, no base running mistakes…
Totally agree shake shack is a hassle even in the UK its always packed and you need a buzzer and shit. But 5 guys just seems more relaxed and always hits abit different like its thicker or heavier or something

I know Portillo’s is known for beef, but if you are in Chicago you have to try their burgers as well. I believe they have restaurants in Arizona and Florida now too.

Will is right. Five Guys all the way with jalapeno and A1 sauce. Slimy hand afterwards that you pick out the cajun fries with and malt vinegar readily available. Shake shack is amazing but only if you get the lettuce, onion and cherry peppers.
@5:55 See, I knew me and Taylor were on the same wavelength, sadly I live in Mississippi and we don’t have In n Out, but when he went back to Hardee’s (what Carl’s Jr. is called here where I live, which I always thought was confusing to have it called Hardee’s some places and Carl’s Jr. other places lol, that I’ve never understood why it isn’t just Hardees or Carl’s Jr. everywhere lol), and then said the Double Western Bacon Thick-burger (which even tho ima bug guy myself, I still usually just go with the single, but I did get the double last time I got it like a month or so ago.
But imo that is by far the best burger at Hardee’s imo. But like that Western Bacon Thick-Burger is just so damn good and maybe be my #1 burger tbh.
If I had to make a top 3 burgers though mine would definitely be

#2. Bacon Quarter Pounder w/cheese
But my OG order was to always order the Bacon QP, get no pickles, no ketchup, add extra onion (since the QP comes with the real onions and not the “fake” onions that come inside a paper bag dehydrated and smelling like a dirty dogs @$$) and then ask for a chipotle bbq sauce they used to have at McDonald’s and put it on there in place of the ketchup, but deff keep the mustard on there cause the chipotle bbq sauce was like a really sweet, yet decently spicy for a Mickey Ds bbq sauce lol.
#3. 3 Burger King Double Stacker w/large Chocolate Shake. These were my OG stoner meal in HIGH School lol.
And I don’t even know if they still sell these or if they’re for one, still like $1 or $2, whatever they used to be, and also I’m just not a fan of BK much anymore so I haven’t had this in forever now, so I can’t guarantee they’re still as good as they were when I was in HS and it be 2 o’clock in the morning and we’d smoke a blunt otw to BK and order us like 3 Double Stacks a piece lol.
But yeah, imo, for the broke kids like me growing up, the Double Stackers were where’s it at lol, the Bacon QP was for when you had like a 10er you could spend on a meal, and the Hardee’s one was just by far the best burger and got a decent price, and again, imp it is the best burger at Hardee’s by far!
And I’m glad Taylor showed some love to the Western Bacon Thickburger lol.
But when they say the $5 burger from Hardee’s are they getting confused and meaning the, i think it was called like the $6 burger back in the day or sum like that lol? Cause for some reason i remember Hardee’s having sum called like the $6 Thick-Burger or whatever it was called lol. But I don’t remember anything from there just called a $5 burger. So yeah, they have to be talking about The “Six Dollar Burger” and not the Five Dollar Burger lol. Unless I’m just totally confused and maybe I’m the one whose wrong lol.
@9:25 there’s only been 2 times I got anything other than a blizzard at DQ, once was their chicken tender meal which was actually really good, and if I’m not mistaken it come with like some toast and fries and the chicken andthey were fire afff.
Then once, and I only made this mistake once, but I got some cheeseburger or sum from DQ, and I never tasted a burger that reminded me of a School Lunch burger in my life. And I didn’t mean a good school lunch burger either, but the ones where it could be beef it could be Soy Protein, but with enough ketchup, Mayo,mustard lettuce, and onion we can get it down (this is what we got with out school burgers), but the DQ butter was acutely beef, I’m just giving it s hard time, but it really wasn’t too much huger grade than a hospital cafeteria burger tho frfr. Like last time I had it. It wasn’t good at all.
But all this DQ talk, is making me make sure I set an alarm to remind myself to go get me a blizzard today. I live in Mississippi where it’s hot as 8 phat biiis on a bus, in the middle of July, with no AC, fighting over a doughnut.
So I need me something nice and cool to cool myself down hell lol.

#1. The Ultimate Jalapeno Burger from Spangles (Kansas burger chain)
#2. The Baconator from Wendy's
#3. Double Jalapeno Pepper Jack Steakburger from Freddy's Frozen Custard

As a kid, loved it
As a teen, loved it
As an adult, as I've tried other burgers and expanded my palette in them....
I was on the the In n Out is overrated train for a while.....
The lines are always packed so I didn't go to in n out for like 2 years....
I got In n out 2 months ago, and I will say.... I fell in love again
I got in n out like 4 times since then, and that's alot for me
And it was so great everytime
It's not the best in my opinion, but I have to say it's not overrated if you say it's amongst the best
But it's not THEE best
It's not heavy at all, I don't feel like I need to take a nap afterwards.... I know I'll enjoy an in n out burger wherever I'm at in Cali, and I never do drive thru cuz I feel like the line is always shorter inside.
So sometimes depending which in n out I go to, I'll have to park at a store right next to in n out cuz drive thru line sometimes won't even let you find a way to park at In n Outs parking lot
And I think it's quicker

I hadn't had five guys until I was 14. I then happened to work there in highschool and it proved even more to me. The ingredients are not bad. To even put burger King on this list is disgraceful.
To me fast food implies a drive-thru. Neither five guys nor shake shack has that. Both are fast-casual. Fast-food is McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Whataburger, and so forth.

The price of beef gone up too much in the last yr. To be fair im not sure if ive gone to fiveguys in a yr or yr and a half.

Can't believe nobody here is backing up the whopper. BK has ruined almost everything else on their menu, but a whopper is still crack on a bun
Whoppers arent bad, but yeah the only other thing decent on their menu to me was the rodeo burger n they keep removing n adding that back on to thier menu so i barely ever go there unless someone else brings me to one is the only way i go to Burger King.
Lol it's nice to find other Whopper stans. Whopper is my clear-cut #1. Nothing beats the charbroiled taste.

Never had In n Out. Shake Shack is the best but I've only had it 2-3 times ever. Wendy's Dave's Double is my favorite standard fast food chain burger (national, around since I was little). Five Guys is a good burger, doesn't really stand out too much but its good, mostly better than the other fast food joints standard burgers.
The problem with In-n-Out is people hype it up so much that you expect to eat the best thing you’ve ever eaten. If you had never heard about it before and went, you would say it’s one of the best fast food burgers you’ve ever had.
My go-to at Five Guys is:
Cheeseburger w/
Grilled Onion
Jalapenos
BBQ Sauce
Very simple, very tasty

The main strength of In n Out is the PRICE POINT. One cheeseburger from 5 Guys or Shake Shack costs MORE than TWO Double doubles WITH fries...and you still get it freshly made.

The secret to In-N-Out is getting it at about 10:30 in the morning. You have to discipline yourself to this regimen so that you are not waiting in a long line to get one. Been doing it that way for over 30 years now.

In and out is the only place I go for burgers outside my backyard. Try the chopped chilies animal style and it will change your mind. Plus they make patties for dogs if you didn't know.
O yeah, extra spread! If you go, go big. I really eat out but when I do, I go in and out. The line is long for a reason but the line moves fast.

Cookout slaps. Sonic is a decent burger and they have tots. DQ is a decent burger too. The fries are good and you can get them with a side of gravy. If you’ve never tried dipping fries in gravy it’s amazing. I usually go there for the chicken strip basket though.
I’m with Will on this one. The reason everybody loves Five Guys is because it is the best. Simple facts. Why does everybody have an iPhone or drive a Toyota or wear Nike? The most popular brands usually are the highest quality. I feel like picking In N Out is the real pedestrian take. I think it’s actually the blonde hair blue eyed chick. It has so much hype but it’s not as good as it’s hyped up to be. It’s not bad, but it just tastes bland to me. Maybe it’s because of the meat ratio, maybe a triple triple would taste better. I don’t know, I’ll have to try that I guess. It is cheap for what you get though, I’ll give it that.
My top 3 are probably Five Guys, Burger King and Red Robin. A big factor in this debate too is the fries. Five Guys and BK have the best fries. RR fries aren’t the best but they’re bottomless.

As a midwesterner I couldn’t wait to try in-n-out burger after all the hype…and it was just ok. And the fries were absolute trash.
Hyping in-n-out is the most basic thing west coast natives do.
If you don't eat the fries immediately, they get cold and you might as well have potato chips. But I get my 3x3 with extra grilled onion (only) like clockwork every weekend. I wish I could explain why - but I can't. They must put something in it that makes me crave it fortnightly.
The fries much better if you get them well done if you ever do try it again.

Jack Brown's & Hugh Baby's are both great if you ever come here to Nashville. I'll also put Gabby's in there for top 3 Nashville burgers. I'm with Will about Five Guys being a tier 1 burger plus best fries by a mile. Fatburger and Shake Shack are also tier 1 (not really fast food). In N' Out is a tier 2 fast food burger perfected. I love it but the fries are awful. Bert's Whopper take is questionable because BK is trash anymore. I will say the Big Mac with quarter pound burgers is a pro move. Carl's Jr./Hardee's is the sleeper here. They don't get enough respect.
