The bombs did hit, they just missed the target zone, causing civilian casualties instead of military casualties
It seems that bombs are used to change the terrain of the battlefield instead of killing soldiers

Kinda, for starters this planes missed there targets so no germans where killed, secondly D-Day lasted for 16 days but I've never seen some one do that so meh, and last everthing is a block but is minecraft so what ya gonna do?
@@englandtehbest1922 Allied Soldies weren’t on the beach for 16 days... They were still fighting the battle of Normandy for 16 days aka they pushed past the beaches and entered french cities.

Fun fact: during the morning of d day the allied aircraft meant to bomb the German positions but since it was dark they missed but as the sun began to rise they were able to see their targets more clearly.

Loved the video man! I also enjoyed the typical Men of war assault squad 2 engine coming into play, where Tommies talk like Yanks and say "For Uncle Sam!" Meanwhile the Yanks are talking like the Tommies and say "For King and Country!" You probably had trouble with the NPC's flying the B-17's since they were WAY too low to be dropping bombs like that, something to do with the world height of Minecraft perhaps?

Fun facts the bombs dropped on D-Day right before it Mr targets it was over a 7,000 pounds of bombs almost every single one of them missed, D-Day was the most amphibious and bloodiest invasion ever in history, over five countries took part in the day, there was an operation called gold where if D-Day was to fail British paratroopers would go in and try to attack vital parts of the German army, about 5,000 people drowned it on D-Day, the most accurate D-Day movie is saving Private Ryan, people that fought on D-Day received a special medal that was purple with a silver outlining, the French Resistance had a big part in D-Day

The bombardments of shells and explosives didn’t actually kill any Germans, aircrafts dropped to far inland, naval guns didn’t do anything to damage the bunkers and German positions, and naval shells fell to short

I loved this video. It was mostly realistic; however, I do have one thing to critique. There wasn't just one wave of Allied attackers, there were several. But the first wave was certainly the most 'interesting'. As I said, though, great video.
the first wave is basically them landing, and then the final one, is probally making their way to Paris, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm also not that sure about it
