BAPE and Adidas dropped their collaboration on the classic Superstar, last week. Featuring the iconic ABC Camo print all over the upper, the shoe is accented with premium leather, metallic dubraes, and co-branding throughout. This ranks pretty highly in the pantheon of Adidas and Bape collabs. Not much hype right now, but I feel this is a pair that will be appreciated over time.
Yes cuz this current climate is more towards the dunk and Nike craze. No disrespect to dunk but like these are done way better than 70% of Nikes sneakers today
@Ellis The DJ I didn’t say anything about adidas being better than nike I just said how the execution on these are better than the basic color ways that Nike are putting on dunks now a days

Copped 2 pairs !!! Superstar 80’s are classics . Class last forever. Absolutely love the 80’s version as they aged really well and that off white mod sole and toe box .... overall a must have in my collection. This collab is a must as it’s the first time in 13 years since the ABC camo is used on a superstar. Years from now people would love to own this pair.
I agree that the box is super nice. And I like the integration of adidas and BAPE. I am glad that the shoe wasn’t too difficult to get. Thanks for always showing the shoes I care or am curious about.
Under the radar collab, the box is a big shout out to all sneakerheads. Such quality!

Thanks for reviewing these! Just picked these up and this is literally the first review I've seen, and a great one at that. Not big into Bape, in fact this is my first Bape collab shoe, but I just really dig the aesthetics on this pair.

I copped! I was actually pretty impressed with them. A little something different.
The fit here is better than the original superstar for me. The premium leather on heel section is lot better non slippery and grippier so even you ordered true to size it doesnt slip as on the regular adidas superstar. I actuallly ending up true to size, im fine with a half size down it fits me end to end. But when i start walking the difference is noticeable. I felt my feet is stressed out in a longer period of time. So i guess true to size is better, enough room since toe box is hard shell end to end fit hurts me.

Picked these up on a bait restock! Got lucky, know resale not crazy, but nothing beats paying retail! They're real dope in hand and the execution from box to shoes was A1. Solid collab with crazy details for sure!
Sadly took an L on these. One of the best adidas collabs this year

Great review as always. I have this pair and the white/black initial collab pair that dropped last month. I’m gonna sell this camo pair cuz the graphic overlay absolutely makes it plastic-like. The white/black pair is more classic and has the premium leather upper throughout.

I went tts. They fit really long. Everybody should go half size down. I guarantee thats the correct sizing.
It depends if you have a narrow foot go half size down. For me as a wide footer, tts fits well.

Superstars are great though. They'll never go out of style. A pantheon sneaker like the Converse Chuck Taylor, Puma Suede, Adidas Robert Haillet/Stan Smith, Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, Onitsuka Tiger Corsair, Nike Air Max, Nike Air Force 1, Jordan 1, Vans slip-on, etc.

Hard to tell because the shell toe doesn’t press down, but there’s a good amount of space

Love my pair... Pretty good review and pretty on point, but I have a few superstars in my collection and I've always went down half a size for them so imo they've always ran big ...like the air force 1s with Nike
Sizing shoes is maddening. I'm a wide foot and my TTS feels like it's pushing pretty hard on my big toes. Narrow toe box for sure. I'm debating on trying to break in or sell.
