I can relate. I know what it's like to give and give only to never receive anything back. To tear piece of your soul to heal theirs and weaken from the lack of love. Watched friends shatter as the recipient of their affections leave them for another. Couple of them even lost the reason to live and snuff out their light.
Rock bands always manage to write amazing ballads. Without You by Ashes Remain is another good one to check out. The vocals are very similar to Citizen Soldier’s, and their style of rock is almost the same (alternative rock / post-grunge). Also, check out this band called Dead by April. They’re a metalcore band that combine metalcore with pop and electronic. They’re extremely catchy, but a lot of their lyrics are love-focused. Not my type of lyrics, but they have an addictive sound which I think will get you hooked, for sure. Some of their songs have no screaming, such as Last Goodbye. You should definitely give it a listen.
This song always hits me hard as I do ask these questions in my head, but bless the souls of my wattpad followers. Many of them when I even mention about what's going on in my head they flock towards me and say comforting words which always brings a slight smile to my face. I could never ask these questions straight to my family because that's a bit too nerve racking for me.
I'm so sorry for your loss😔 I've lossed loved ones and friends... but never to suicide. So I can only imagine the pain of that. Just know you have my sympathy and prayers. Peace be with you. God bless you all
You know, this song hits me every time I listen to it. Back in the winter of 2014 I was on a snowboarding trip with a close friend. Driving my vehicle. We were on our way home from the mountains when we were struck by a drunk driver. Sadly, highway state patrol and emergency responders pronounced my friend "D.O.A" or deceased at the scene. I had to be cut from what was left of my car. And then I was airlifted by helicopter to a local trauma center hospital. To this day, although we are in 2024 now. I still ask myself questions. "Well what if I had swerved"? "Would he still be here" ?

But I would recommend buried alive, gunshot lullabies, found, let it burn and weight of the world Also migraine from twenty on pilots (they have other good songs as well but migraine stood out to me) and songs from Nathan Wagner, he makes more calm music but his lyrics are beautiful (my favorite is Man of stone)

No one is worth that! She will realize the pain that she has caused in time. The best way to get back at her is to be happy. If she hurt you, she might be sadistic in that way. Find happiness without her. You will be stronger from this experience - use it to build yourself back up. ❤

Honestly this song is something I relate to on a deep level I moved to England from Slovakia 6 years ago only just started highschool and obviously language barrier accent and etc led to endless bullying Razor blades put in pockets, pushed down the stairs spat on called an immigrant, jumped Shit leaves a seriously deep mark on your soul and this song is such a good representation of how it feels like when you're on the edge and exactly the questions you ask yourself daily Waking up when you feel like sleeping forever is such a terrible thing I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy Although currently I'm certainly not as bad as I was at the time but i carry the weight with me everywhere I go but it does get better it just has to get worse for it to get better Remember ppl you're never alone although you feel like you are You are worthy of love life and happiness You are all that a person needs You are not useless or worthless You have a place in the world no matter what Keep on fighting

I've been in the position that suicide felt like the only option, I could never go through with it no matter how much I wanted too though, each time I get there I'm sitting there and I start to debate the pros and cons turns out my friend and family need me to be here to help them, because of that I picked up the mindset of give, give, give, just don't expect to get anything back. And I got a lot back, not from them, but from the world in general.
