Congrats on the growing viewership! I am enjoying watching your journey into F-scale railroading as well as your railroad-related travels. I’m also curious about your guitar collection. Cheers!
Thank you so much! I'm over double this celebration now. 😎 I'm very glad to hear you are enjoying my videos. I have SO much to come, - just struggling for the time to make them, but they ARE coming! I MAY have to do a video on my guitars once I'm caught up. Haha! Cheers! Simon

Cheers! And congratulations on getting to a thousand and beyond!!! Now to pollute your mind with bad thoughts!! Lol 16mm scale!! 7/8" scale!! And LIVE STEAM!! (Insert evil laughter here) Keep up the good stuff!! Btw, it was Toy Man Television who brought you to my attention. So kudos to them and to you good sir!
Haha! I can't afford to do everything myself, but I'm interested to go and visit anyone else's. The only live steam I have is an old bench top workshop engine. It's jammed up at the moment, but I hope to get it working again at some point, (among many other ideas). I'm very glad you took Dale and Karyn's recommendation and joined me. Thank you Timothy!

The Speaker of the House. See. It’s a punchline that requires no setup. Anyway congrats on the 1000+!! And onward and upwards on about a 4% grade. Unless you have a Bachmann three truck shay. Then perhaps an 8%. Thanks again for the tea! Happy new year!!
I know I’m a little late to the party but congratulations on getting 1000 subs!! It’s been a wonder watching your videos on these models, here’s to a 2023 full of many more!
Awesome Simon! Your focus on F scale has paid off. I’m sure you’ve encouraged many people. A pint at the moment of 1000 is perfect. Serendipity! And thanks so much for the mention Simon. You didn’t have to of course but very very much appreciated. I think those of us that simply wish to encourage the hobby, whether live steam, F scale, G scale, 16 mm or whatever, supporting each other is the way to go. I have been subscribed to Dale and Karen’s channel for quite a while and enjoy their videos. The hobby is full of amazing people around the world. I will follow the other links you mentioned and subscribe. Being as I am out on Vancouver Island off Canada’s pacific coast I am not really near as many resources as others in the hobby so these connections for me are so important. I also must correct you. You want a wife that supports your hobby. Lol. Mine budgets carefully so I can have my hobby. She’s a gift. And uh oh… does the new mug with logo mean the end of seeing your Iron Maiden mug in your videos? The outtakes were fun! I have never kept any of my gaffs. I probably should. For the record I don’t run my lubrication…
Brilliant, thanks Terry. Yes, hobbies work better when we are sociable and supportive of each other. It's funny because I've been kicked out of THREE G scale facebook groups: Two just banned me without saying anything, and the other told me off because my video had the Bachmann logo on it and that's "promoting", which is apparently bad. 😂🤣😂. So silly. Ha! Yes, well... I probably mean in a teasing way. "Oh God, Simon. Not more trains!!!" ......and then quietly "I love it really" 😝 To be fair, any women I've told about or shown what I have and do have been very interested. I cannot leave the Maiden Mug out, it's a part of my videos as I am 😂. But now I have a Bonus Mug. I delete most of my excess video, but I soon started saving little bits which made me laugh. and everyone should run their lubrication 😉 Thanks very much Terry. Cheers!
@@ThatBIGTRAINGuy I wasn’t kicked out, but got a very nasty note from an admin of a live steam FB group informing my Christmas video was off topic. Yet it had live steam. He ended his message with “you have been warned.” Yet, many members of that group put a like on the vid. Perhaps mentioning Merry Christmas offended him? I no longer contribute to that group.
@@Terrys-Steam-and-Bricks It's sad. I do find in many groups, the admins like policing the rules more than the subject of the group. Thankfully, there's still a fair number of good groups I post in.
Congratulations on busting through the 1k subscriber mark! You and the Maiden Mug have come a long way! And fun that you used Sousa's Liberty Bell music early in the video or as most of us know it as Monty Python's Flying Circus theme. Keep up the fun videos!
Thank you! Me and my mug have come a long way. Haha! Oh that's actually Washington Post in the video. Still Sousa and quite similar, but both are fun tunes 😁
As a product of the 80's and 90's, got to say I love the mug and its fun to see in most every video! I would love to see them in concert but they never stop here unless they are flying through and stopping for fuel. The last time they did that was when EdForce 1 was a 757. When they moved up to the 747, they flew right over us! And for 2023 they are stay on your side of the globe. I had to rewatch your video and damn my damaged hearing for the music. 28 years in the airline industry working the big jets have not done my hearing any favors! With the music volume low and a British guy speaking, my brain filled in the blanks. Close but no cigar... at least I got the composer right. ;-)
@@AkRyder68 Iron Maiden are amazing, I hope you do get to see them. I've been fortunate to see them about 16 times since 2006! The 747 version of Ed Force 1 was recieved by the band in Cardiff, which is just across the water from me. I regret not going to see it. It's hard setting the volume of the background music. I might set it at a good level, but I soon found it can come through much louder on other devices so I make sure it's right down low now. Just enough to give a bit of mood, but not cover my voice. Anyway, thanks again! Cheers.
Hopefully they do a U.S. tour in the near future. Those guys aren't getting any younger. They are 10-15 years older than me and I'm not getting younger either! ;-) I would loved to have gotten a chance to see their 747. I work 747's for a living for one of the big international air cargo airlines. Anyways, I'll let you get back to the trains! Cheers!
Sounds interesting. Really, I'm wanting to visit places myself. I'm always interested to see what people have though, so feel free to show me if you can message me through Facebook or Instagram pages. Who knows, I might be able to put together a virtual layout convention in the future 😉 Thanks. Simon
