Beautifully done. The rehearsal version shows what a good ear he had in producing this song. He knew what sounds he wanted and all the musicians and back up singers were right in tune. What a natural gift he was to the world! 💕💕💕
John I know Elvis Presley was before your time but I grew up on him. It's nice to see young people like you rembering the greatest singer a Entertainer a human kind man that ever lived in the 20 th century there will never be another man to fill his shoes. Never.
Once again Sandra, you are so eloquent with your words, you do such a great job reminding new fans about the greatness of E as a singer and a person! Viva Elvis~
Yes, your absolutely right!! Love him since age 6 - now 71. I love it when he talks with his sexy voice. Beautiful hunk - inside and outside and his fans appreciate him FOREVER AND EVER!
Another great song written by a great songwriter called BJ Thomas there will never be another voice like him anywhere in the world long as we live👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑⭐️⭐️👍⭐️⭐️
Magnificent song, the best voice of all times, his passion when singing, and what he transmit, I have not words, and the orchestra is INCREDIBLE, FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
This Elvis song is one of the most beautiful for me! And his performance is amazing! I haven't tired of watching this video for over 40 years! I'm a fan of Elvis from Brazil
Elvis was the complete package. Nobody else in the 42 years since he's been gone and I don't believe there ever will be. Or at least I hope there won't be as far as I'm concerned.!!!!Will always miss the person he was.😢😢😢
Recently saw someone's Elvis top ten. Had so many great songs, I think you at least need a top 30! Then you would just be scraping the surface...Love this. That voice, so versatile. The backup singers, the band, the orchestea... sublime.
I can hear Charlie Hodge’s voice blend with Elvis’ in this song, it makes it even more sweet. Elvis was always afraid he would forgot the words to this song, lol
Gosh what a WONDERFUL smile ELvis had.Makes one feel happy inside . Wonderful song as all his songs are. Perfection . Thankyou for sharing his Fabulous Legacy.

John I'm so happy that you are playing a lot of Elvis keep playing his songs and I also like how you are really listening and feeling what we older Elvis Fans feel Thank You
Love this song. Elvis said he didn't like it much. But he in my opinion made it better after he sang it. I've been an Elvis fan since I was about 12 year's old. I'm 66 now. I followed him my whole life. Still listen every day
This is such a low key song it often gets lost in his work. I love it. It's so soft and sweet yet his voice is still so precious. I would have loved to been in the front row of this concert...better yet, I would have loved to have been the gal he may have rehearsed it to! LOL
This is the reason I can't pick a favorite Elvis song. Each one is so great. I say the one I listening to at that moment because the next one will be as equally great and then it will be my favorite.❤❤❤❤
Hurt from the jungle room at Graceland. Nothing but his voice, from the first note every hair on my body, even the ones I did not know I had, rose and stood at attention until the very end! Now for me that was a triple wow reaction! Omg I could feel his pain and it tapped into any I ever felt! I will never forget the feeling of the experience!!
Coming from possibly the biggest Elvis fan alive....you need to hear his voice at its absolute best...."SWEET ANGELINE"....His voice was at it's Zennith.
I’m surprised how much he’s still admired 50 years later when so many other top stars are pretty much forgotten. Request: Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody, the live version with Bobby Hatfield in the pink jacket. Tell me if that isn’t one of the best live performances EVER.
Actually I just became a big time Elvis fan about 7 months ago. Since then I have watched video after video. I just came across this performance 2 days ago I love it. It was actually done by a guy back in the 60's by a guy B J Thomas. But by far Elvis is 100 times better. Anyway Ioved it.

Elvis never recorded this in the studio. It was only part of his set list in August 70 cause it was a top 10 hit at the time. Elvis' performance was so popular when the film TTWII came out that Elvis' version was released as a single in 71 and became a top 10 hit.
Once again the band shines! Try watching "Ready Teddy" from 1956. The performance was from one of the first TV shows that Elvis was on when his career took off!
His band was sooo tight!! I think my favorite thing of your reactions is that you recognize Jerry Scheff on bass. He has such a funky style. He did allot of recordings with the Doors and Grateful Dead. Was great watching your reaction with my morning coffee John. Great stuff as always! Cheers from Texas! 👍✌
I have been watching your reaction videos to Elvis today. I have seen many other reactors, and you are certainly the most authentic. Your sensitivity to the performances and your authenticity are moving . Thank you for these. Danke viel mals!
Fantastic song, don't know why they left the song out of the deluxe edition DVD , with Bridge over troubled water. The idiots. Great reaction from you. I know I've said it before. But could you do. You'll think of me. It's a studio cut has he never did it live. Thanks
Elvis presley King of music Unfortunately, a lot of the times it has to do with the rights to songs. That is what happened a few years ago when they released the Blue Ray version of Elvis on Tour they left out the intro with Johnny B Goode because they couldn’t get the rights to the song.
@@ct8755Yes that's true with Elvis On Tour. But the person who did the deluxe version left out the songs because they didn't fit in with the other songs that he left in. He did an interview years ago now with a Elvis magazine that I buy and he explains it in there

Elvis said in a interview that he always got nervous the hour before going on stage. He was having trouble remembering the words to this song so at the last minute the guys wrote the first few lines of this song on paper.
Ha funny that he stand with the sheet At the beginning. I know that he always was nervous about to forget the lyrics especially of this Song. But i Never saw this Version. He is the best !
Check out Unchained Melody from his last concert in 1977. He was so sick, but that beautiful voice never failed him. He always gave 100% to his fans. The show must go on.
