This was one of the most epic rides ever. And doing it alone added an extra special experience I will always remember. It may not be thousands of miles away in some remote jungle. But a lot of it is remote and you are alone for a long time throughout each day. Time to think. time to take in what has happened in your own life. Time to reflect.
This time of year it was really muddy in parts. And was by no means beginner level. At this time of year anyway.
I thank RallyMoto and my Off-Road friends such as Rob Greaves for getting me into Roadbook Rally a few years ago. And Pete Livesy (RallyMoto) for recommending the Pyrenees ACT and Portugal ACT to me. Both which I have done (kinda..Pyrenees not quite in its entirety). Thanks Pete 👍🙏.
And a big thanks to you lot on here YT. For the lovely feedback over the years on my little videos. I am no proper TH-cam guy remember. I’m just a chap like yourselves that likes to play with bikes.. that’s all 👊
Life is still busy.. I can’t say when the full video will be done. As this on ONLY 6 minutes out of 5 days of riding. But I’ll try 🍻

Thanks mate it was ! Can’t wait to do it again at some point. It is so long you’ll never remember most of it even after multiple attempts 😂. Just hope it doesn’t rain as some parts are worse than some UK green laning! And with a loaded “adventure bike” it’s a bit tricky 🙏

Thank Lee! It was special this one. Didn’t plan it that way. It just was. Doing it alone and the fact this time of year made it more challenging in parts. The weather atmospheric etc. was perfect. A boiling hot summer wouldn’t have been the same experience 👍. Can’t wait to be home now 😃
Have to love the Portuguese countryside. It's got everything. Including freedom to ride your bike! Looks like a fantastic trip mate. Did you make it back to the Algarve?
Spot on there mate. Portugal has it all for motorcycles! There are millions of tracks here. No need to search thru just stare at you 😂🤷♂️. It was the best trip ever! Yes finished at Praia de Velha. Right on beach 🏖️ ☝️👍
A nice mix of Skydio 2 "follow me" drone footage and on bike camera footage. I'm surprised you were able to fly your drone near those soldiers without it being confiscated. I look forward to the full video (eventually)!
Hello mate! Thanks and yes I was worried with the soldiers. I was guaranteed in my head they would not be happy with the drone. But they were very friendly. Jokes about shooting it 😆

Thanks mate! Yeah a spectacular bit of footage. But anxiety levels through the roof every launch. It’s not cheap, not reliable and a crap flight time. But when it works it’s the best
I have a Dji mini 3 but the follow me it's a bullsh** t 😂 keep doing good videos in Portugal it's a great place for adventure riders !!!
