Not a fan of the whole S cell explenation becoming canon because it doesnt explain goku and vegetas first transformations. Pretty sure goku even said that he didnt like being a super sayien at first because he noticed an obvious change in his attitude when he transformed making him more ruthless than when he was normal. He was more like vegeta when super saiyen than his normal happy go lucky/ playful attitude. This is why sayien saga through till the end of cell saga was the best dbz imo because it was more consitant with the way they explained sayien powers and wasnt about who has the best intentions and purest heart. When goku was trying to teach gohan to become supersayien he never mentioned anything about pure heart he was trying to make him angry to the point of letting go all restraint (which worked). Vegeta didnt turn supersayien because of a change of heart it was pure determination and greed. He wanted to be stronger than goku at almost any cost and hated being upstaged by goku reaching legendary sayien status. It all changed imo in boo saga when they decided goten and trunks basicaly turn super sayien easy af with barely any real training or trauma explaining it away in 1 episode that they both changed in sparring matches against one of there parents like it was nothing. yet goku was basicaly the purest hearted sayien ever since losing his memory as a kid because of a head injurie( before that he was a typical sayien that just wanted to destroy) and because he was raised by grandpa gohan and trained and fought his whole life yet didnt come close to supersayien till the trauma he experienced with frieza being the angriest hes ever been. Even gohan who could barely bring himself to hurt anything had a hard time turning supersayien and goku even said hes having trouble because he doesnt want to let go of his good nature. Gohan ssj2 against cell was ruthless. It was completely uncharacteristic for gohan to be that cold which is another reason why gohan hated turning ssj2 or even ssj1 and prefering his perfect state which didnt require him to transform at all. But now ssj is because of s cells being you have to have pure heart and good motivations? Such a cop out. Theres a reason goku spent extra time with gohan in hyperbolic time chamber and made him stay in ssj form. He says its to get him used to his strength boost but i believe it was also to make him used to being ssj with the attitude change so he wouldnt be uncontrollable when ever he transformed knowing he would be like that and being mentally prepared. He wasnt prepared for it to boost his attitude along with his power when turning ssj2 because no one had done it till that point which is why gohan played with cell to a level and git3 goku killed hence gohan never wanted to turn ssj2 ever again and only did it very rarely and it was never as strong as the first time not because he stopped training imo but because he was scared of the transformation itself, never really letting go of emotional restraint as much as when he did agaisnt cell

It’s because of those deaths they grew to these levels
destroying them was what they deserved. they were a blight on the universe killing and primitive, yeah they were enslaved and were "Following Orders" but before frieza they were also assholes and murderous. and refused to change. that's why yamoshi died in the first place. i think the universe willed this to happen and vegeta and goku were left because they were destined to turn out this way.

So in other words if Vegeta actually changed his thinking and emotions to be more like Goku, hed probably be a million times stronger. Because he became super saiyan blue / god even through pride and arrogance. That's crazy bro. Imagine if Vegeta actually optimized his 'S cells'...
He probably did. In the recent manga chapters he trained to focus his KI more effectively to prepare to battle Moro. Vegeta was surprised with the effects of that training. His battle power is on another level now.

Doesn't make sense since MUI isn't a Saiyan only thing. The second voice was simply reminiscent to what the Dragon Ball Z anime did with the SSJ.

Matthew Reynolds nah it's canon , just a retcon by Toriyama himself said it .. so it's canon .. Yamoshi is the first SSJ but he never became a SSG like some people think

I agree with you completely. Piccolo definitely needs a new power up. And being connected to the gods. It would make complete sense. That he be able to unlock God ki. He just needs something or someone. To push him to that point.

Dragonball super isnt the only one you have watched is it. If so go back and watch it all. From the original dragonball. All the way up to dbs. The whole series is good. Super is good I liked it. But what came before it was better in my humble opinion.

I guess that explains how Vegeta was able to turn into his Royal Blue form that easily, when he's around his own kind he's more leveled, kind and open like Goku. Something tells me in that moment his hormones shifted and allowed him to loosen that chip on his shoulder. Which also begs the question, what would happen if Vegeta's home world and people were resurrected, and he then learns to go of his trauma and constant sense of anger? If he were to develop S-Cells exponentially, he can certainly break multiple limits at the same rate. I hope the next saga delves into this.

I just have one bit of confusion about this and it may just be a cross between the show and manga idk. However in the show before Berrus ever had a premonition about the SSG it was the seer that told him in 39 years this figure would appear. That’s why Berrus told Whis to wake him up. So it wasn’t Yamoshi that alerted Berrus to his rival cause he already knew

but he doesnt fight to hurt to kill people like the other saiyans did, he just likes to fight he'll even fight people weaker than him just for fun so in comparison he is peaceful

Universe 6 saiyons are alot different though, they are civilized...

Like all of this lore is so hard to follow. I didnt even know who Yamoshi was or realize how important until I thought “who was a super saiyan before goku?” And googled it. The lore and story just adds alot of context.

When Goku turns Super Saiyan first Time, Vegeta mentioned that he thought Super Saiyan is just a myth and Story of a saiyan who turned super saiyan for the first time in planet vegeta is not true... So there was a person who achieved the super saiyan for first time in planet vegeta..

Its written by the author, but he adding theories to it. But yes the author has introduced Yamoshi. Thats why Beerus was looking for the Super saiyan God. And thats why Goku ask Shenron about the Super saiyan God and how to become one. Yamoshi is the legend. But the Author didn’t give enough info thats all.

good story but yamoshi had actually achieved ssjgod before goku, and he didnt just get executed like that he fought against the evil saiyans but he ran out of time as ssjgod so they killed him

it was a good story but i don´t think it happened like that!!! i believe yamoshi turned into super saiyan by accident! he was a good hearted saiyan, in other words, not normal!! saiyans supposed to be evil and savages so he got corned and turned into a super saiyan because of his feelings like goku and gohan! i don´t believe that he had all that conscious knowledge and scientific thinking!!! he was fighting for what he believed and it happened; simple as that!!!!
