    Rora appreciation comment here. I see why YG named her Aurora. I keep thinking back to how I discovered babymonster. I was legit looking for Joyner lucas look alive song and found ASA and immediately watched Rora's b/w video and I said "WOW" out loud to both ASA and Rora's performances.

    I also want to see Rora shine. I feel that so far, Rami, Ahyeon, Asa, and even Pharita (even though she doesn't have the most lines, but the ones she has are really good) are the members who’ve had the chance to shine the most. But I would love to see more of Rora; she’s a member with many qualities who has worked hard since she was very young. She sings with that beautiful deep tone, which isn’t very common in K-pop, and she has a soulful and bluesy voice. She conveys emotions so well, plays the guitar, and plays the piano incredibly well since she was a child (Her mother is a pianist), she’s also acted in several K-dramas and commercials). She had already debuted in a kids girl group before Babymonster, in which Hyein from NewJeans was also part of. She’s modeled since she was little for various brands, including clothing and toys (Actually, there are still toys with Rora’s face on the packaging). She has excellent communication skills and expresses herself incredibly well for her age; she’s only five months older than Chiquita. As the members say about her, “It's just her way of being, she was born with it.” On top of that, she’s beautiful, has a very nice and relaxed vibe, but at the same time, she’s the savage one of the group. She also has the best sense of humor. For these reasons, I believe they still have a lot to show of Rora. I’d love for them to highlight more of her qualities or artistic gifts.
    The same goes for Chiquita, although she’s had more opportunities to shine, I feel like they could show more of their beautiful vocals. And with Ruka, I feel the same as with Rora. I think they could show more of her artistic gifts and allow her to express herself more. They could also showcase her dancing more, which is Ruka’s biggest strength. She auditioned for YG as a dancer, and even in some programs they’ve been on, she introduces herself more as a dancer than as a rapper or singer, and I’d love to see that shine

    Rora’s voice is amazing and always grabs my attention. Love Ahyeon in this as we don’t always need her belting. And I have to say I die when Rami sings so good. Great song and video! See all you Monstiez in LA! I can’t wait! Great job guys! I pick Dream 😊

    I saw a comment on tiktok that love in my heart is about ahyeon. The scene where ahyeon and chiquita were fighting, it shows that chiquita trying to stop ahyeon from leaving.

      @@WatchingSundays It’s more about the journey of the seven as Babymonster, but I do believe that at least the scene with Chiquita and Ahyeon represents Ahyeon’s hiatus and how the girls didn’t want her to leave, because for them and for us, Babymonster wasn’t complete without one member. This is also why "Batter Up" was never promoted, as the girls asked YG not to promote anything because they didn’t want to experience that without one of their members (they talked about this in an interview). They also requested that the release of "Sheesh" be considered their official debut date, as Ahyeon would be present, and they would finally be complete. But overall, the song and the video represent their journey as Babymonster, including all the obstacles (One of the most difficult moments being Ahyeon’s hiatus and everything that came with it, like for example, the hate towards Ahyeon and all the girls, as well as the speculations about the reasons for the hiatus, and the uncertainty felt by the girls and the fans), struggles, and good moments they’ve experienced, from their pre-debut era to now, as they are reaching their dream, how they always support each other, and how Monstiez are there to support them as well.

      I agree that this is more a re enactment of why Ahyeon left on hiatus and her return. This is typical of YG songs. There is always something special that is particular to each of the members to draw out real feelings and emotions from the singers.

    I think that you guys didn't notice that the video is about their journey so far. That rain could represent the time that they were in training. The rainbow appearing is the goal they want to reach. Ahyeon and Chiquita fighting is when Ahyeon went on hiatus. Ruka grabbing Chiquita and pulling her forward shows the support they had for each other during that time. When Ahyeon was back with them, they started planning to reach their dreams (represented by the rainbow). At this time, I think we saw the dream catcher twice in the video, and it shows up more times. In the video, they use it to represent that they want to catch their dream. In the room where they are looking at the maps, we see pages from a book that focus on the words "the starting point of a rainbow," "rainbows," and "dreams come true." They started on their journey to reach their dream, but the start was rough. You could even say that the van passing them represents the criticisms of them copying BLACKPINK or 2NE1. Remember that all turned around when they did their first live performance. The van coming back is those people now becoming MONSTIEZ. And now the MONSTIEZ are now taking BABYMONSTER along on their journey to reach their dreams. Along the way, that experiences so many beautiful things when traveling with the MONSTIEZ. At the end of the video, they are shown as being closer, but they are still chasing the beginning of the rainbow.
    So they are saying that the song is about giving the love in their heart to the people that are helping them reach toward their goal. The lyrics and the video kind of gives that sentiment.

    Rami actually did a triple progression high note belt similar to Ahyeon on Drip. Pity the chorus cut in as she was in the middle of her 2nd and 3rd progression of that triple progression high note belt and that incredible High note got lost in the background of the chorus.

    Love in my heart is dedicated to Ahyeon's return from hiatus. The first part was when Chiquita held her hand not to go away but Ahyeon refused to do so (that's why Ahyeon didn't make her debut in Batter Up). The rainbow signifies that there's always a rainbow after the rain, which means after all the circumstances. Still, the hues of the rainbow are the epitome of a colorful ending where the ROYGBIV (7 colors) join together.
    Waiting for a cab in the road means they will ride for a new journey together as 7 members. On the other hand, the shooting star means a success after a long wait.. This MV is all about dedication, perseverance and faith in one another, which made them the Biggest Kpop Group now. :)

    To me, this music video isn’t just about one member but about the story of the seven together and their journey. For me, it’s a representation of them and the journey they’ve had so far as Babymonster and as young girls who love music and art and are full of passion, trying to reach their dream while we Monstiez are here for them. The rain represents their training days and the struggles they went through before debuting. Then they start to see the sunlight, they run and fight to see the rainbow, which represents their dreams. The Ahyeon and Chiquita scene, I don’t see it as a fight but as Chiquita trying to stop her from leaving, which to me represents when Ahyeon went on hiatus, the hate they all received, and the criticism over "Batter Up." Chiquita holding onto her hands represents how the members didn’t want her to leave, because since the beginning for them and for all of us, Babymonster is 7 or it’s not, all of them are equally important and essential for the group. After that, Ruka taking Chiquita represents that they need to support each other at this time, and maybe Ruka, as the oldest member, had to hold them all together like the glue of the group. Later, they see the rainbow in the distance but want to get closer, representing that after everything bad that happened, the sky is starting to clear up, and they see their dreams are possible and achievable. That’s why they want to reach the beginning of the rainbow, because that’s where the path to achieving their dreams starts.
    The scene where they are in the room with the maps and books shows them planning how they are going to get closer to the rainbow or getting closer to their dreams. The words that flashed were "rainbow" and "dreams come true" on the pages of the books. Then, they embark on their journey, and on the road, the van that passes them without picking them up could represent all the people who didn’t believe in them, like those who criticized "Batter Up." But later, a van comes back and picks them up; for me, that van represents Monstiez and how we are supporting them and accompanying them on their path as they achieve their dreams. The Monstiez are now taking them toward their goal, and on the way, they experience some beautiful things. And finally, they end the video seeing the beginning of the rainbow, or seeing their dream so close, the path to achieving it right in front of their eyes, clearer than ever, and they continue running toward it.
    The first scene with Chiquita and Ahyeon can also be interpreted another way. In that part of the song, the lyrics say, “my heart is like flames that can't be controlled so just let me be.” Ahyeon sings that while Chiquita tries to stop her from leaving. For me, that represents the passion all seven of them have, so much that they don’t know what to do, but they want to do it, and that’s what Ahyeon’s acting represents. Chiquita’s reaction could symbolize the fear or uncertainty they have, because even though they have so much passion and talent and want to do everything, they’re still kids who feel fear and have never experienced that world. Later, the lyrics continue with Ruka running in for Chiquita, saying, “I’m coming to you cutting through/going across the night just how it always has been,” and for me, that represents the support they give each other. But it also represents us, Monstiez, who will always be by their side no matter what, supporting them. That’s why, for me, this song is about the seven of them and Monstiez.

      That old van is a metaphor for YG himself. He is the old guy. Not Monstiez. But yes I agree very much with the Ahyeon and Chiquita reenactment. Ahyeon clearly explains that it was a personal decision to go on a hiatus to fix herself. Chiquita and Ahyeon were inseparable besties and of course Chiquita would be devastated

    • @ariannapolina9417
      @ariannapolina9417 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@getgreatstuff88getgreatstu8 oh yes, the van could also be a metaphor for YG, since he is accompanying the girls on their path and their dreams. I think it could be a metaphor for monstiez because the lyrics of the song give me vibes that it is written for themselves and for the fans, but in reality nothing is known about the history of the video and the song. So you are absolutely right and it could also perfectly symbolize YG, that also makes a lot of sense

    • @getgreatstuff88getgreatstu8
      @getgreatstuff88getgreatstu8 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@ariannapolina9417 yes we don't know but the beauty of YG songs is there are hidden truths and double meaning in his song lyrics and performances. He wants to draw out real feelings and emotions from a performance so the song usually has elements that are unique to the performers personal experiences.

  • @getgreatstuff88getgreatstu8
    @getgreatstuff88getgreatstu8 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

    This song explains why Ahyeon went AWOL. She made a personal decision to go on a hiatus to fix herself. Chiquita crying is because she and Ahyeon had become inseparable besties. Understandably Chiquita was shattered. Ruka steps in as the eldest and provides the support and friendship to bring Chiquita back to her happy self. Watch Christmas without you cover, now we also know that song is for Ahyeon telling her she is loved and missed and want her back in the group.The rest of the song is about their friendship. It is a metaphor for their travel around the world singing their songs. They ask for help and that old car shows up is a metaphor for the old guy YG himself picking the girls up and sending them to beautiful places to sing their songs.
