I have such deep respect for you and your wife I have been (a semi-silent😂) subscriber of y'all's for quite a while and I have to say that I love to see it every time you put pride and 'wins' aside and choose to bow out of the competition for the wellbeing of the horse[s] ❤sadly there aren't enough ppl in the horse world that are willing to do that for animals that they've owned personally for years😢so I'm so glad that you do ❤
We got a horse from a wildlife park (unhandled yearling that basically lived like a wild horse with little human contact) years ago and these freakouts are the reason we don't ride him. We started getting him used to the saddle but on some days he did perfect like he'd carried a saddle his whole life and the next day he'd act like he'd never even seen a saddle before. He's perfectly healthy and happy. He's just a companion horse now. ''Not every horse is meant to be ridden'', like my mom always says. He does great with people and has no issues there. You can pet him, trim his hoofs, brush him, go on a small walk. He's happy, healthy and has a forever home with us ❤
I’ve watched Sandia’s explosions several times and it’s obvious to me that in her mind she’s in a life or death fight. Huge respect to you for recognizing that pushing her through it isn’t the way to go. 👏 👏
Bravo to you both for being such amazing advocates for these horses. Thank you, thank you! You two are amazing and I have been following you for a few years now,
I really appreciate that you guys recognize that every horse is an individual. Thank you for what you do. Love your videos. I completely forgot about the Albuquerque event; I was planning to go as I live an hour away. God Bless.
I applaud your decision to do the right thing by Sandia, thank you for putting her needs first. I have a very sensitive mustang that needs way more time than my thoughtful mustang. The sensitive mustang will be over threshold at a neighbor walking on the fence line while the thoughtful one goes about his business of eating dinner. It’s going to take years to get the sensitive mustang confident to be under saddle. Thank you for advocating for these special horses ❤
Bravo…👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 that you are intuitive enough to recognize that Sandia is sensitive and not ready. I have been watching you for quite sometime, and I have nothing but respect for you. Keep on keeping on🍀🇺🇸
Incredible work - really admirable your way of seeing the horse as an individual. I have a similar situation with my horse now and it takes such patience and letting your ego go to know that the only thing you can do is go slow with them and sometimes, that’s just what certain horses require. Thank you for showing us this 🤍 amazing job
Can you hear my applause from across the miles? It would be absolute cruelty to keep pushing this beautiful animal just to satisfy the rules of a competition. Easy does it.❤️💕❤️

Scary blow ups ! Good idea to stop the pressure and go slower. This was a great video
This is why I love you guys! The horse always comes first. The journey and path you are on is an incredibly wonderful one❤❤❤
I'm sure you have made the right decision. She's a lovely horse going in the right direction. No doubt you will find her the right owner one day. ❤

You made the best decision.❤
❤ hard for me to imagine how much patience y’all have…❤
Thank you for sharing, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the new Mustang Champions.
Glad you have seen her need for a different approach

Whoa! She's dangerous.
@@CarolStJohn-ev9ry she really isn’t. She was just being rushed through training faster than her brain and nervous system could handle.
